On Thursday night, YouTube removed an episode of the “Full Send” podcast featuring former President Donald Trump after the video racked up more than 5 million views in under 24 hours because the video violated YouTube’s “Terms of Service.”

The “Full Send” podcast shared a message from YouTube regarding why the platform removed the video. “Content that advances false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches changed the outcome of the U.S. 2020 presidential election is not allowed on YouTube,” the statement reads in part.

During the podcast that aired on Wednesday, Trump correctly predicted that if the hosts released the entire 50 minute episode uncut on social media, then sites like YouTube would censor the episode and the podcast would face backlash.

“Full Send” is hosted by Bob Menery, Kyle Foregeard, Jesse Sebastiani, Salim Sirur, and Steve Deleonardis, as well as several other members of their larger prank group, “The Nelk Boys.”

At the behest of his friend and Ultimate Fighting Championship founder, Dana White, Trump sat down with the squad from the “Full Send” for an in-depth interview on everything from the oil crisis to the Joe Rogan controversy and everything in between. Menery, Sebastiani, Sirur, and Deleonardis joined the former president at his famed Mar-a-Lago resort for a pre-taped interview.

Toward the end of the conversation, Trump stated that Big Tech would “punish” the podcasters by removing the content due to his comments.

“Here’s a test — this is a test for everybody. It will be a test for a small group of people. This interview will have millions and millions of people — assuming it’s not touched, let’s see if they allow you, I hate to say this to you cause you guys are going to chicken out, I guarantee it,” Trump began.

Then, one of the hosts started pushing back against Trump, saying, “Don, we don’t chicken out. We don’t chicken out.”

“If you put up this whole interview — let’s see what happens when Instagram, and Facebook, and Twitter, and all of them, will take it down. And let’s see what happens when they threaten you,” he added. “Because we don’t have a free press in our country.”

“This is the beginning of communism,” Trump continued. “We have a press not so different from countries we don’t want to talk about.”

At one point in the interview, Foregeard said that his team was not “afraid of getting hit” by Big Tech.

“Let me tell you where you’ll be scared, when they say, ‘We’re going to take you off the air if you put this up.’ Let’s see all you — people in this room — all you camera geniuses, and tech geniuses, a lot of geniuses, young people,” Trump continued, pointing at everybody in the room.

“Let’s see what happens when they take it down,” Trump added.

Foregeard responded, saying, “I don’t think YouTube would take this down. There’s no way.”

On Thursday evening, the 24-year-old was proven wrong. Foregeard tweeted, “Youtube has DELETED our trump episode that over 5M views in 24 hours.”

Menery also added, “This country has fallen apart. Our interview has been deleted after being one of the most popular podcast videos in the history of time. I’m out.”

On Friday, Trump issued a statement that in part read, “Whatever happened to free speech in our Country? Incredibly, but not surprisingly, the Big Tech lunatics have taken down my interview with the very popular NELK Boys so that nobody can watch it or in any way listen to it.”

“The Nelk Boys” have more than 7 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 1 billon views.
