President Donald Trump seems to be workshopping new nicknames for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), following his Friday announcement that he would support a primary challenge against the former ally.
Over the last month or so, Greene has publicly attacked Trump for supposedly being “America Last” and spending too much time tending to global matters. She’s also claimed the president has made missteps when it comes to documents concerning late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In a post published Saturday, Trump referred to MTG as a “traitor.” “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Green[e] is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!” he wrote.

In a previous post, Trump called MTG a “lightweight” and tried out the nickname “Marjorie Taylor Brown.”
“Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!), betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that we all know she always was,” the president wrote. “Just another Fake politician, no different than Rand Paul Jr. (Thomas Massie), who got caught being a full fledged Republican In Name Only (RINO)! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

In Trump’s Friday post, he referred to Greene as “‘wacky’ Marjorie” and a “ranting Lunatic” who turned on him publicly after he stopped taking most of her calls and sent her a poll showing how poorly she’d fare if she were to run for the Senate or to be Georgia’s governor.
As for Greene, she claims the fallout is because she’s remained “America First” and the president has not. She also claimed on Saturday that she’s being victimized by Trump, comparing the fear she feels to female victims of Epstein.
“I am now being contacted by private security firms with warnings for my safety as a hot bed of threats against me are being fueled and egged on by the most powerful man in the world,” MTG said. “The man I supported and helped get elected.”
“Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type rhetoric being directed at me right now,” she continued. “This time by the President of the United States.”
“As a woman I take threats from men seriously,” she said. “I now have a small understanding of the fear and pressure the women, who are victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his cabal, must feel. As a Republican, who overwhelmingly votes for President Trump’s bills and agenda, his aggression against me which also fuels the venomous nature of his radical internet trolls (many of whom are paid), this is completely shocking to everyone.”
“My phone is blowing up with constant amazing support. I’m so thankful!” Greene added. “The Political Industrial Complex and the toxic violent nature of American politics must end. Our country is worth saving and it can only be done if we pull together and save ourselves.”
