Trump Eviscerates Jay-Z With Single Tweet

In its never-ending quest to find people to bash President Trump, CNN is now turning to the world of hip hop.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, appeared on “The Van Jones Show” on Saturday night, the eve of the annual Grammy Awards. Asked about Trump allegedly calling Haiti and some African nations “s***holes,” Jay-Z said the comment was “disappointing” and “hurtful.”

“Everyone feels anger, but after the anger it’s really hurtful because he’s looking down on a whole population of people and he’s so misinformed because these places have beautiful people,” he told Jones on the debut of his CNN program. This is the leader of the free world speaking like this.”

But Trump, as he does, hit back almost immediately, firing out an early morning post on Twitter on Sunday.

For the record, Trump has denied using the profane phrase, but said he did use “tough” language during a White House meeting. And also FTR, the unemployment rate for blacks dropped to 6.8% in December, the lowest since 1972, the first time the rate was calculated by race, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Jay-Z, who’s worth $900 million, was also asked what he thinks about the surging economy. But he said that just doesn’t matter.

“Because it’s not about money at the end of the day,” he said. “Money is not — money doesn’t equate to happiness. It doesn’t. That’s missing the whole point. You treat people like human beings, then — that’s the main point.”

Well stammered, Shawn.
