<p>Trans activist <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-faces-backlash-after-trans-activist-goes-topless-at-white-house-pride-event-a-disgrace-to-our-country" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rose Montoya</a>, a man who identifies as a woman, apologized after briefly going topless at a White House Pride Month event, an act the Biden administration later called &#8220;inappropriate and disrespectful.&#8221;</p>
<p>In a three-minute long clip posted on Friday on <a href="https://twitter.com/OliLondonTV/status/1669759282282102786?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TikTok</a>, Montoya said that &#8220;Today I need to apologize…in a quick moment of fleeting and overwhelming trans joy I decided to do something unbecoming of a guest of the President at the White House lawn celebration.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I want to take this moment to apologize for the impact of my actions,&#8221; the transgender influencer added, without specifically saying what those actions were.</p>

<p>Montoya went through a lengthy list of apologies to various LGBT groups before claiming that &#8220;family and friends&#8221; have been &#8220;harassed&#8221; after the incident.</p>
<p>&#8220;Last but not least, I would like to apologize to the president, the White House, and the nation,&#8221; Montoya said. &#8220;It was also never my intention to create a situation that would lead to harassment and harm of myself and others.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Nor for my little moment of trans joy to be weaponized by vile people of the opposition,&#8221; Montoya added.</p>
<p>The video concluded with a plea to members of the media to respect both Montoya&#8217;s family and friends&#8217; &#8220;privacy at this time.&#8221;</p>

<p>Shortly after the images surfaced, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-admin-claims-it-is-outraged-at-transgender-activist-who-went-topless-at-white-house" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the Biden</a> administration issued a statement calling the stunt &#8220;inappropriate and disrespectful,&#8221; and saying that those who participated will not be invited to &#8220;future events.&#8221;</p>
