It’s impossible for Chrissy Teigen to avoid controversy, especially when it comes to posting on social media.
The 36-year-old model and cookbook author is known for sharing inflammatory comments on Twitter and posting inappropriate photos to Instagram. Despite the potential for backlash, it seems Teigen is up to her old tricks again.
The latest photo causing a stir shows Teigen apparently naked in the bath with her 3-year-old son Miles and 5-year-old daughter Luna, whom she shares with her husband, singer John Legend. The three are cuddled up in the tub with their bodies censored by bubbles. The caption of the Instagram photo reads, “Not pictured: endless bickering.”

The comments section is flooded with both praise and disgust. Some fans think the photo and the concept of adults bathing with children is inappropriate. But plenty of Teigen’s fans came to her defense as well, reprimanding the haters for trying to “sexualize a fun bubble bath with mom.”
“Here we go again with pictures like this again. Keep it private,” one follower commented. “Some aspects of your life you should keep to yourself Chrissy.”
An even more controversial photo from 2021 showed Teigen standing topless with her son, Miles. This snapshot was meant to be sexual, however, and Teigen freely admitted that in the accompanying post. The caption for that image said, “Please move, mommy is trying to be thirsty.”
During that exchange, fans mocked Teigen for staging sexy photo shoots with her kids around. And even worse, they questioned why the “Cravings” author would share a photo of her toddler son photobombing the event.
“What an inappropriate photo! So desperate,” one fan wrote in response to the topless image.
Teigen is not the only celebrity to share sexy photos of herself with children present. The Kardashian-Jenner sisters constantly post bikini shots of themselves while the kids are around. And recently, model Elsa Hosk staged a controversial “mommy and me” photoshoot with her 7-month-old baby with both of them completely nude, Daily Mail reported.
While Teigen gets a lot of heat from sharing so many personal details of her life, she also garners support from fans by being so open. The model experienced a late-term miscarriage in 2020 and shared the details and intimate photos of the aftermath on her social accounts. More recently, she revealed how she’s been dealing with that tragedy.
“When you lose a baby halfway through, your body just pauses. It has nothing to do. No one to feed. And you’re just… stuck. Stuck with saggy boobs that were prepping to be milk bags, a belly that was ready to bake,” Teigen explained in an Instagram post.
“I would be lying if I said this did not majorly suck. Not only are you ummmm extremely, diabolically sad at what could have been, but you have this daily reminder every time you look in the g****** mirror,” she said.
