On Thursday, Valerie Jarrett, the top advisor to former President Barack Obama, ridiculed President Trump for meeting with rapper Kanye West, defending CNN’s Don Lemon for attacking the visit and huffing that her former boss would never have invited someone who used language like West’s to the White House:
Jarrett conveniently forgot Obama’s #2 guy, former vice-president Joe Biden, who celebrated the Obama Administration’s success with Obamacare this way:
Biden apparently wasn’t the only high-ranking member of Obama’s White House to have a way with words; at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2009, Obama joked about White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, “I do have to say, though, that this is a tough holiday for Rahm Emanuel because he’s not used to saying the word ‘day’ after ‘mother.’ That’s true.”
Oh, and wasn’t Barack Obama the one who invited rappers like Common, who had lyrics such as “black strap to make the cops run,” Jay-Z, who had referred to women as “bitches” and “hoes,” and Rick Ross, who wore a court-mandated ankle monitor to the White House and had pled no contest to charges of misdemeanor kidnapping and assault, to the White House?
