Top Five Idiotic Things Global Warming Protesters Are Doing In Paris

   DailyWire.com

In a world where ISIS, Boko Haram, al-Shabab, and Hamas frolic freely, severing heads at will, global warming hysteria seems like an absolute pantomime. And yet, overeager protesters at the climate summit in Paris left work (of course, if they have jobs: a dubious proposition at best), roaming the streets of the City of Romance in search of absolution.

Vandalizing property and beating their chests like Opus Dei fanatics miming the suffering of Christ, global warming protesters are dead-serious about their faithful cause.

Here are the top 5 idiotic things global warming protesters are doing in Paris:

1. Global warming protesters trashed a memorial site for the victims of the Paris terrorist attack.

According to the Andrew Pestano of UPI:

A memorial site for the victims of recent militant attacks in Paris was destroyed when French riot police clashed with climate change protesters.

The incident occurred Sunday at the Place de la Republique, which had become a temporary memorial for the 130 victims of the Nov. 13 Islamic State attacks in Paris. About 200 protesters clashed with police ahead of Monday’s 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP21…

The protest intensified throughout Sunday, with about 4,500 people forming a human chain around midday. Some protesters allegedly began throwing candles and other objects from the memorial site at police.

2. Global warming protesters are assembling in large mobs, despite bans by French authorities in the wake of the terrorist attack.

For security reasons, the French police issued a strict ban on mass assembly on the streets of Paris, following the terror massacre that left 129 victims dead. French intelligence services are in the midst of a full-scale operation to find and capture suspected jihadist lurking in Paris and its vicinities.

Law and order must be established so that the police can do its job and secure the city. Global warming protesters don’t appear to care. Although France has been placed under a state of emergency, protesters littered the streets and sidewalks, prompting riot police to respond with force. After attacks against police, tear gas was fired to regain order. French police have already made over 100 arrests.

3. Global warming protesters placed thousands of shoes in a Parisian public square, creating chaos in an already-crowded city.

Reuters reports, “In the French capital, where demonstrations were banned by the authorities after attacks by Islamic State militants killed 130 people on Nov. 13, activists laid out more than 20,000 shoes in the Place de la Republique to symbolize absent marchers on the eve of the summit.”

The perpetually political Pope Francis even contributed to the shoe circus, adding a pair of plain black shoes to the thousands of sandals, high heels, and sneakers. Since assuming office at the Vatican, Francis has pushed “social justice” oriented issues, like climate change and income inequality.

4. Global warming protesters came in all shapes and stripes, welcoming everyone from anti-capitalist agitators to violent anarchists.

The global warming protest is essentially a Parisian version of Occupy Wall Street: unorganized, incoherent, and lawless.

Rather than discussing policy, rioters are assembling together in loose bands of unemployed gangs and demanding “change” without specifying what they remotely mean. Of course, the protest is a magnet for anti-capitalist paranoia and anarchist sentiments.

Agence France-Presse (AFP) reports, “But a band of anti-capitalist militants infiltrated the protests, leading to clashes with riot police in the late afternoon and the detention of more than 200 people.” The consequences of these clashes were dire and led to further disarray. “Police fired tear gas at protesters, who pelted them with bottles and candles in Place de la Republique and chanted: “State of emergency, police state”, referring to the post-attack protest restrictions,” adds AFP.

5. Global warming protesters are “disruptive elements,” being so “scandalous” that even climate change obsessed European politicians are drawing distance from them.

According to the Associated Press, “French President Francois Hollande said the violence was ‘scandalous’ both because the clashes were caused by ‘disruptive elements’ that have nothing to do with environmental defenders and because they occurred at Place de la Republique, which has been a memorial square for the 130 victims of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks.”

The irony here is that the summit in Paris is designed to address climate change. Billions of dollars have been poured into this glamorous event, drawing world leaders far and wide all to pontificate about the perceived threat of global warming. Nonetheless, global warming protesters remain unsatisfied. Violence and vandalism appear to be at the top of their agenda.

“These individuals have no place and that’s why everything will be done to move them aside,” stated Hollande.
