Mao Zedong told President Nixon in 1972 that Chinese troops “do not go abroad” in order to alleviate fears about massive intervention from Beijing as America was withdrawing from Vietnam. China has long criticized the U.S. as imperialistic for acting as the world’s policeman. Though, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is not without its own global ambitions, the backbone of which relies upon technology to wage unrestricted warfare that is both subtle and unrelenting. The CCP linked companies such as Huawei, Da Jiang Innovations (DJI), and TikTok to form a Digital People’s Liberation Army that is attacking the American homeland.
Revered Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu said, “It is never beneficial to a nation to have a military operation continue for a long time.” The Chinese prefer to suffocate an enemy without firing a shot, as opposed to storming a beachhead in a distant land. China arguably boasts the world’s largest naval fleet, though they have only one overseas naval base, while the U.S. maintains hundreds of overseas military bases, including many naval bases. The CCP’s strategy against the West relies on technology, not troops.
