Much of the action on Tuesday night was focused on the ballot measures, where voters across the country rewrote the rules on taxes, abortion, marriage, and even how Americans cast their votes.
Florida homeowners hit the jackpot. Amendment 3 cleared the state’s tough 60% bar with 62% of the vote. The measure raises the homestead exemption on non-school property taxes to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028.
