Hunter Biden‘s art career must be going poorly because the president’s latchkey son asked an Arkansas court to lower his child support for a daughter whom he had out of wedlock with a stripper.
The “smartest man” President Joe Biden knows (not a joke) recently filed in state court a request to recalculate his monthly payments, citing “a substantial material change” in his “financial circumstances, including but not limited to his income,” the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported earlier this week.
Biden the younger fathered the child with Lunden Roberts, a lady who was a stripper named “Dallas” at Hunter’s rumored favorite strip club in Washington, D.C.
It’s unknown how much Hunter was ordered to pay for his daughter, but Roberts’ attorney, Clint Lancaster, failed to see how he couldn’t afford the payments.
“Ultimately, this is going to require us to look deeply, more deeply, into Hunter’s finances,” Lancaster said. “I’m going to want to have a deposition with Mr. Biden. Like last time, I’m going to bring my forensic accountant to the deposition, unless the judge tells me I can’t.”
Lancaster insisted that Hunter travel to Arkansas for the deposition.
“Unless he’s going to pay me to fly to California to take his deposition, he’s going to have to come to Arkansas,” the attorney added.
The Democrat-Gazette noted that in November 2019, Hunter claimed in an affidavit, “I am unemployed and have had no monthly income since May 2019” with “significant debts.”
Just months later, the media reported that he was living in a “$12,000-per-month Los Angeles rental with a swimming pool and a Porsche Panamera in the driveway.”
All of this must mean one thing: Hunter is not the artist we all thought he was.
Just last year, the former crackhead-turned-energy executive announced his decision to enter the art world. As his dad was in the Oval Office, Hunter was in the studio working on his talent.
Shortly thereafter, buyers began shelling out boatloads of cash as high as $500,000 in some cases for the “esteemed” painter’s work — allegedly.
Critics worried that the sale of his paintings would be rife with corruption. Even The Washington Post was concerned.
So, the White House worked out a deal where Hunter’s buyers would supposedly be kept secret, so as to not give the impression President Joe Biden could be influenced by purchasers of his son’s art.
“Under an arrangement negotiated in recent months, a New York gallery owner is planning to set prices for the art and will withhold all records, including potential bidders and final buyers,” The Washington Post reported. “Biden’s art sale, expected to take place this fall, comes with potential challenges. Not only has Biden previously been accused of trading in on his father’s name, but his latest vocation is in a field where works do not have a tangible fixed value and where concerns have arisen about secretive buyers and undisclosed sums.”
As it stands to this day, the Bidens maintain they could never be persuaded by money. They’re honorable people, you see. The president has also never acknowledged his granddaughter in public, not even at the White House Christmas display, but that is beside the point.
The White House also issued a warning in December 2021 that the modern art industry is filled with money laundering.
The report noted, “The markets for art and antiquities—and the market participants who facilitate transactions—are especially vulnerable to a range of financial crimes.”
“Built-in opacity, lack of stable and predictable pricing, and inherent cross-border transportability of goods sold, make the market optimal for illicit value transfer, sanctions evasion, and corruption,” the report added.
So maybe any potential customers of Hunter simply got cold feet after reading that. That’s why he claims he can’t afford the monthly allotments.
Regardless, like Van Gogh and so many other greats, Hunter is suffering for his art. He cannot even support his four-year-old daughter. Tragic.
