Sports announcer and former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was stabbed on Friday night in Indianapolis, and is currently in the hospital with critical injuries.
The stabbing took place on a street in downtown Indianapolis, according to reporting from TMZ. In addition Sanchez, one other person was injured.
Authorities were notified about the incident at around 12:30 a.m., early Saturday morning.

The 38-year-old is best known for his success as a former New York Jets quarterback. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and Washington Redskins.
Sanchez is currently a color analyst for Fox Sports and is in Indianapolis to broadcast the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders game scheduled for Sunday.
