<p>Vice President Kamala Harris is pulling out all the stops as Election Day fast approaches, first turning to former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ben-shapiro-says-dems-trotting-out-obama-to-campaign-for-kamala-is-a-desperation-move" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Barack Obama</a>, and now enlisting socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders to stump for her.</p>
<p>Sanders, who advocates for what he calls &#8220;Democratic Socialism&#8221; and was apparently <a href="https://freebeacon.com/politics/bernie-sanders-asked-leave-hippie-commune/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">kicked out of a hippie commune</a> for being too lazy, hit up Nevada and Wisconsin to promote Harris. Ironically, the VP is simultaneously trying to distance herself from her radical positions and present as a moderate this cycle.</p>
<p>Over the weekend, Sanders made <a href="https://www.fox21online.com/2024/10/12/sen-bernie-sanders-campaigns-for-harris-and-walz-in-superior/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">two stops in Wisconsin</a> to promote the Harris-Walz ticket. The Vermont senator also recently hit up <a href="https://thenevadaindependent.com/article/among-some-bernie-sanders-supporters-in-nevada-harris-is-the-best-of-the-choices" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nevada</a> to campaign for Harris, <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/10/04/us-news/bernie-sanders-stumps-for-kamala-harris-in-las-vegas-without-telling-crowd-to-vote-for-her/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">urging</a> progressives that it&#8217;s &#8220;imperative that we defeat Trump.&#8221;</p>
<p>Though Sanders is certainly far-Left, Harris in 2019 was <a href="https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/kamala_harris/412678/report-card/2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">rated</a> even further Left than Sanders in the Senate. Harris, in fact, was voted the &#8220;most liberal&#8221; member of the Senate.</p>
<p>Notably, Harris co-sponsored Sanders&#8217; &#8220;Medicare for All&#8221; bill when she served in the Senate, and promoted the plan when she ran for president in 2020. The far-Left legislation would have cost taxpayers $32 trillion over ten years and effectively <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/29/politics/harris-private-insurance-medicare/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">eliminated private health insurance</a>.</p>
<p>“Let’s eliminate all of that. Let’s move on,” Harris told CNN host Jake Tapper of private health insurance during her 2020 run for the White House.</p>
<p>This election cycle, however, Harris&#8217; team told the press in August that the Democrat would <em>not</em> be pushing &#8220;Medicare for All&#8221; this go-around — one of the many Team Harris attempts to moderate the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/yeah-i-am-radical-new-trump-ad-use-kamalas-own-words-against-her" target="_blank" rel="noopener">self-styled radical</a> candidate.</p>
<p>During her time in politics, Harris has voiced support for the controversial Green New Deal, a total ban on fracking, gun confiscation, the elimination of private health insurance, taxpayer-funded health care for illegal immigrants — including sex-changes, the radical “defund the police” movement, and other far-Left issues.</p>
<p>For example, Harris said during her 2020 run that there’s “no question” she’s “in favor of banning fracking.”</p>
<p>“And starting with what we can do on Day 1 around public lands,” she said. “This is something I’ve taken on in California. I have a history on this issue.”</p>
<p>The Veep also <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-a-to-z-from-marxist-influences-to-willie-brown-to-radical-policy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">praised</a> Australia’s strict gun ban and said she would implement gun confiscation for up to 10 million guns in the U.S. through a mandatory gun buy-back program.</p>
