Sharon Osbourne said she couldn’t “stop crying” after her and her family reportedly got death threats following her exit from “The Talk” over racism accusations and underwent “ketamine therapy” to get through it all.
During the 69-year-old media personalty’s interview for The Sunday Times, the former co-host of the CBS daytime talk show shared how she took the antidepressant, that induces “dissociative anesthesia,” after she said people were threatening to “cut her husband’s [Ozzy Osbourne’s] throat” at the time she was accused of being “a racist,” reported Page Six in a piece published Monday.
“If you’re a person that stuffs things [down, ie, suppresses things], ‘I’m fine, I’m fine,’ this drug relaxes you,” Osbourne shared.

“You’re not out completely,” she added. “You can hear, you can talk, but you’re so relaxed, and you can’t bulls*** on it. It’s a truth drug.”
The wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne said she started taking the drug after being attacked in public over accusations of alleged racist behavior.
“They were saying they were going to come in the night, cut my throat, cut [my husband] Ozzy’s throat, cut my dogs’ throats,” the former TV host shared. “I said, ‘I ain’t going out, I ain’t doing anything.’ I just couldn’t stop crying because all I was thinking about was all the things that I’ve gone through in my life, and now they’re calling me a racist, this is insanity.”
In 2021, Osbourne and her former co-host Sheryl Underwood got into a heated exchange on air following Sharon voicing her support of pal Piers Morgan — who made comments about Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey where she accused the royal family of racism, as previously reported by The Daily Wire.
“I feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend who many people think is racist, so that makes me a racist,” Osbourne shared at the time. “I will ask you again, Sheryl … and don’t try and cry because if anyone should be crying, it should be me. This is the situation, you tell me where you have heard him say racist things. Educate me.”
“It’s not the exact words of racism,” Underwood replied. “It’s the implication and the reaction to it. To not want to address that because [Markle] is a black woman and to try to dismiss it, or to make it seem like less than what it is, that’s what makes it racist.”
Osbourne later apologized. “The Talk” went on a short hiatus, but it wasn’t long before reports surfaced she wouldn’t be back on the show.
