On Tuesday, Amazon announced the top 20 highest-selling non-fiction books during the week starting Monday, March 18 and ending Sunday, March 24. Daily Wire Editor-In-Chief Ben Shapiro’s new book, “The Right Side of History: How Reason and Moral Purpose Made The West Great,” which was released on Tuesday, March 19, was ranked #1 at the top of the list.
Shapiro’s book was followed by Michelle Obama’s book, “Becoming,” Tara Westover’s memoir “Educated,” “Girl, Stop Apologizing,” by Rachel Hollis, and “Bad Blood,” by John Carreyrou.
Shapiro’s book, the eighth work of non-fiction he has written, argues that Western civilization is in the midst of a crisis of purpose and ideas, and that civilizations that rejected their debt to Jerusalem and Athens have collapsed into dust.
On the day it was released, Shapiro’s new book surged to the #1 spot of all non-fiction books on Amazon.
