<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams said he received a call from President Donald Trump after announcing that he’d been diagnosed with terminal cancer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Somebody’s calling me from some number I don’t recognize, something in Florida and I sent it to voicemail. And a little bit later I thought, I better check that voicemail and see if that was anything I need to deal with. And the first sentence in the transcription, cause you know the phone gives you the text version of the voicemail as well. The first sentence is, ‘This is your favorite president.’ And I thought to myself, no, did I just send the most important person in the world to voicemail?” Adams told the audience of his “Real Coffee with Scott Adams” show.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The cartoonist said Trump left a message asking him to call him back, but he thought that was “ridiculous” because the president would be too busy.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Same day, it’s the afternoon, and all of a sudden another call comes through, also from Florida, and I thought to myself, no f***ing way, there’s no way he’s calling me again, and I answer it, and it’s Trump,” he continued.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“At the end, the strangest thing happened at the end of the call when he found out, you know, the situation was kind of dire, and I was still checking out some things that might help, he said, ‘If you need anything, I’ll make it happen,&#8217;” Adams went on.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“And he meant it. He was completely aware of our, let’s say, parallel journeys from 2015, he mentioned it, and it was just the most incredible, weird, hard to understand situation, but boy, was it fun.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Adams recently made the announcement that he has the same cancer as former President Joe Biden.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I’ve decided today’s the day I’m going to take the opportunity — since a lot of you are here — to make an announcement of my own. Some of you have already guessed, so it won’t surprise you at all, but I have the same cancer Joe Biden has,” he said during an episode of his show.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“So I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones. I’ve had it longer than he’s had — well longer than he’s admitted having it,” Adams added.</span></p>
