Miley Cyrus’ mom, Tish Cyrus, has reportedly filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus after nearly 30 years of marriage again.
The 54-year-old actress and producer reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” in Tennessee as the reason for the divorce in recently filed court documents, reported TMZ in a piece published Monday.

The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker’s mom also reportedly noted that she and the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer haven’t lived together since February 2020 as another reason for the divorce.
The superstar singer and Tish tied the knot in 1993 and share three kids together, Miley, Braison and Noah Cyrus. Tish also shares two kids with her previous husband, Baxter Neal Helson, reported Vanity Fair.
The country singer was the first one in the marriage to file for divorce from Tish back in 2010. The couple released a statement at the time about it being a “difficult time” for their family.
“As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family,” the joint statement read. “We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
The two would later reconcile, but Tish filed divorce paperwork in 2013. Billy Ray, at the time, asked the public to “respect our privacy at this time.” But by 2017 reports surfaced the two were back together and the divorce was called off, reported E! News.
Some fans noticed in pictures over the holidays that Billy Ray was missing. At the time, there had been no public statements from either one about the status of their relationship.

There are no photos of Tish on Billy Ray’s social media, and the singer’s posts only go back as far as one month ago.
“The Climb” hitmaker has yet to make any comments either on her social media sites about the reported divorce. Miley went through her own divorce in recent years, after finally tying the knot with then longtime boyfriend actor Liam Hemsworth. The two were married in December 2018 at a private ceremony with a few friends and family members. Several months later, stories surfaced that Miley and Liam had split. He later confirmed the news with a small post on Instagram, calling it a “private matter.”
“Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward,” said Hemsworth. “This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.”
Their divorce was official in January 2020.
