Reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter, Savannah, shared an update about how her parents are doing after they started their prison sentences for fraud and tax evasion.

During a recent “Unlocked” podcast, the “Growing Up Chrisley” cast member told fans that her parents are doing “okay” after reporting on January 17 to begin their individual sentences after being convicted in June and sentenced in November.

Savannah said that her father, Todd, is “doing pretty good” and has even landed a job working at the facility’s chapel, which she described as “absolutely amazing.”

“We talk to him, we email him,” she added. “We get to see him, so for that, I am forever grateful, because there are so many people that don’t get to see their loved ones that are in different facilities, that are maybe in maximum-security prisons that don’t get visitors, that have to say hello through a piece of glass.”

Savannah then shared the contents of an email from her father asking her to take care of her younger brother Grayson, 16, and niece Chloe, 10, both of whom she’s now in custody of after her parents reported to prison, E! News noted.

“I want you to give yourself some grace,” Savannah read of Todd’s email. “Fall in love with the real Savannah, the one that I raised that radiates a room with her kindness and compassion, not the one the world wants to see.”

“Please tell my Chloe how much I love her, and always remind Grayson that he is my heart and soul,” the email added.

Savannah said the reality star’s mom, Julie, is “honestly doing really well.”

“It sounds crazy for me to say, ‘Alright, they’re doing really well,’ but they are,” she added. “My mom, she’s made friends, she’s keeping busy, she’s going to church, she’s working, she’s playing some spades.”

The Chrisleys were convicted last year of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, tax fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. In addition, Julie was also convicted on a charge of wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

In November, the couple was sentenced to a total of 19 years behind bars after a jury convicted both for their multimillion-dollar bank fraud and tax evasion scheme, People noted. Both were also ordered to serve an additional 16 months of probation following their releases.
