On April 27, a 32-year-old New York radio host who streamed herself on Facebook asserting “F*** the police,” then hours later drove her Volkswagen into a NYPD highway officer who was redirecting traffic, killing him, complained as she was in the back of the squad car following her arrest, “Why did my first accident have to be a cop? Not that I wanted it to be someone else, but f***, I’ve been driving since I was 16 and haven’t hit as much as a pothole,” the New York Daily News reported.

On Tuesday, Jessica Beauvais was arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on a 13-count indictment for the death of NYPD Highway Officer Anastasios Tsakos, whose leg was severed in the collision as he was hurled roughly 200 feet, according to the indictment.
