<p>Instagram star Bri Teresi said she&#8217;s done with modeling for a top lingerie brand after the company hired a male to sell products, blasting the company for jumping on the &#8220;woke bandwagon.&#8221;</p>
<p>The model said she was no longer working with high-end luxury brand Honey Birdette after it posted photos on its social media of &#8220;non-binary&#8221; male model Jake DuPree wearing a three-piece ruby red lingerie set. Teresi said the move had taken away a job from a female.</p>
<p>In the since-disabled comments section of the post, Teresi wrote &#8220;Sad to see you guys jumping on the woke bandwagon! Once again, another thing taken over by men. Know your audience!&#8221; <a href="https://www.outkick.com/bri-teresi-cuts-ties-with-the-lingerie-company-honey-birdette-after-they-used-a-male-model-go-woke-go-broke/">OutKick</a> reported.</p>
<p>The model later confirmed to the outlet, &#8220;Yes it’s true. I will no longer be working with the brand.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;Honey Birdette fosters an inclusive and diverse environment, and we will continue to use our voice to empower and support the LGBTQ+ community, women, and anyone who wants to feel fabulous in our lingerie,&#8221; the company&#8217;s statement read. &#8220;While thoughtful and constructive discussions are important to push culture forward, hate speech and bullying will not be tolerated on our channels.
