Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards is distraught that President Trump has temporarily ended DACA, moaning that she is “heartbroken.” She added, “Here at Planned Parenthood, we firmly believe that every person has the right to live, work, and raise a family freely and without the threat of deportation or separation … We believe in every person’s right to control their own destiny and their own body.”
First, it’s ghoulish that Richards bemoans the deportation of illegal immigrants as a denial of their “right to live” while championing the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of babies every year.
Second, why, oh why, would Richards be so upset? It’s not as though she has a personal stake in the matter.
Unless, of course, she does. As protectingblacklife.org reported:
A 2010 census reveals that Planned Parenthood is targeting minority neighborhoods. 79% of their surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of African American or Hispanic/Latino neighborhoods.
Richards wept, “The Trump administration just announced a plan to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) — an attack that will leave 800,000 young people who have grown up in this country at risk of deportation, including members of the Planned Parenthood community. I’m infuriated. I’m heartbroken.”
Richards added, “DACA has helped so many young DREAMers” to go to Planned Parenthood facilities.
You just bet it has.
