Leftists are losing their minds over social media influencer Jeffree Star having a compassionate, human response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. 
The makeup brand founder, who has more than 13 million followers on Instagram and close to 8 million on TikTok, clapped back at those who accused him of being a Republican because of his reaction. 
“Am I Republican? No, I’m a person,” Star said during his livestream, which included footage of him reacting to the news that Kirk had been shot at a college event in Utah. “Because I’m standing up for someone that passed away, I’m now being called names in the chat.”
“He encouraged everyone to speak about their beliefs, whether he believed them or not,” the pink-haired influencer and makeup enthusiast said in the TikTok clip, which has been widely circulated on X.

“So a grown man that goes around the country, debating people, spitting facts, was just taken out. And I’m not over it… So no, I’m not a Republican. No, I’m not a Democrat. I’m Jeffree Star. Stop trying to label me.”
“Charlie Kirk fought … for the truth,” he added. “He debated everybody. And you guys cannot argue that.” Star mentioned Kirk’s young daughter and started tearing up, saying the tragedy makes him “so sick.” 
At another point, reacting to the comments being posted, Star said people who identify as transgender are in the wrong.
“This is what’s wrong with a lot of you people. You will never get far in life. You are sick in the head,” Star said as angry comments from viewers continued to come in. “Someone just said they’re unsubscribing from me … Thank God. Please! If you believe in they/thems, you are part of the problem. If you’re stupid enough to go against science, please unfollow me.”
The social media influencer said you can “be whoever you want to be,” but that doesn’t override physical reality. “The truth hurts a lot of you, I see,” he added.
“Yes, I am a grown ass man that wears makeup,” he said. “I will always be a male. My name is Jeffrey … I am a male that likes cosmetics.” 
“All these grown men going into women’s bathrooms and wearing wigs, you should all be in prison forever. You are the problem.”
“Politics aside, biology will never change,” Star said. “Why is that up for debate?”

The women of “The View” are known for delusional takes, but when it came to discussing the assassination of Charlie Kirk, they displayed a remarkable amount of restraint and introspection, for once.
Panelist Whoopi Goldberg began by calling the shooting “beyond devastating.”
“Our hearts, of course, go out to the family of Charlie Kirk,” she added, praising “politicians from both sides of the aisle” who spoke out “against the violence” and “urged Americans to come together” in the wake of the tragedy.
“Isn’t a fundamental part of being an American is that we’re able to express our opinions to each other without fear and this kind of horror happening?” Goldberg went on. “It seems to be something we’ve been seeing more and more of. It’s not even Left or Right. It’s just people being taken out because of their beliefs or their thoughts.”

“Regardless of your politics, we’ve got to get to a place in this country where we see people we disagree with not as our enemies, but as fellow Americans with different viewpoints that we need to engage,” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed in.
She said Kirk was an “incredibly influential young activist on the Right” and that his death “is going to hit young Republicans really hard because he made them feel like when they were the lone conservative voice on campus, one of the only Republicans, that it was okay to speak up and say their viewpoints.”
Sarah Haines said, &#8220;He&#8217;d talk to people openly, who disagreed. So the irony of being violently killed while saying those words of what we need more of in this country, I know all of us agree on that part. There&#8217;s never a place for political violence.&#8221;
The tone of all the panelists was somber as they discussed the assassination.
“I can’t believe that someone would kill another person because they were speaking their beliefs. This is antithetical to who we are as Americans. The First Amendment is the First Amendment for a reason. We should be able to voice whatever opinions we have,” Sunny Hostin chimed in.
Goldberg ended the segment with instructions for viewers going forward. 
“All the things we’ve seen — the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the aggressiveness when they went after Paul Pelosi, the couple in Minnesota — this is not the way we do it,” she said. “We say this every time, but, somehow, it’s not resonating, and I hope that young Republicans never forget that they have voice. They have a voice. We all have voices. We should never ever be afraid. It’s beyond, beyond. And Charlie Kirk’s assassin is still at large.”

‘The View’ Reacts To Charlie Kirk Assassination: ‘Antithetical To Who We Are As Americans’

The transgender-identifying comic book creator who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death on social media will no longer be producing work for DC Comics, the entertainment company has announced.
The mature readers comic series “Red Hood,” a Batman spinoff project, was written by Gretchen Felker-Martin and had artwork by Jeff Spokes. The first book launched on the same day Kirk was murdered, September 10. 
Felker-Martin’s account on Bluesky is currently suspended, but other users took screenshots to capture his vile reactions. When reports first came in that Kirk was shot, the comic book creator <a href="https://bsky.app/profile/soupytoasterson.bsky.social/post/3lyk4wfhtgk2r">wrote</a>, “Thoughts and prayers you Nazi b****.”
“Hope the bullet’s okay after touching Charlie Kirk,” a follow-up post said.
“The job market is grim, but there’s a silver lining: Gavin Newsom needs a new co-host for his podcast,” Felker-Martin wrote in a third post, referencing a time Kirk and Newsom filmed a podcast episode together.
This prompted DC to cancel the next two planned installments of “Red Hood” and offer retailers reimbursement for any unsold copies of the first issue.
In a statement to io9, DC said it places “the highest value on our creators and community and affirm the right to peaceful, individual expression of personal viewpoints. Posts or public comments that can be viewed as promoting hostility or violence are inconsistent with DC’s standards of conduct,” per <a href="https://gizmodo.com/dc-ends-red-hood-comic-after-writers-charlie-kirk-comments-2000657517">Gizmodo</a>.
This isn’t the first time the trans-identifying man celebrated violence. Referring to anti-trans activist J.K. Rowling, Felker-Martin previously <a href="https://www.them.us/story/bluesky-moderation-suspension-jk-rowling-jessie-earl">wrote</a> on Bluesky, “I hope someone splits her skull,&#8221; earning himself a temporary suspension for violation of policies.
In 2022, Felker-Martin made <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/04/22/writer-gretchen-felker-martin-under-fire-for-killing-j-k-rowling-in-novel/">headlines</a> for releasing the novel “Manhunt,” which included a storyline about burning Rowling alive. He described the book as a, “depraved psychosexual horrorshow.”
Other media personalities were also penalized for their reactions to Kirk’s assasination. Middle Tennessee State University terminated an employee following what the university president described as “inappropriate and callous” comments made on social media.
In a statement released late Wednesday night, MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee confirmed that the employee was let go.
“This employee has been fired effective immediately,” McPhee stated. “We extend our deepest sympathies to the Kirk family.”
MSNBC also severed ties with Matt Dowd for his reaction to the tragedy.
“Hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions,” Dowd said during an appearance on “Katy Tur Reports” just after the shooting. “You can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and then not expect awful actions to take place.”
Dowd added, “We don’t know if this was a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration. So we have no idea about this.”
MSNBC apologized for his remarks, with network president Rebecca Kutler calling the comments “inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable” in a statement posted to social media.
“We apologize for his statements, as has he,” Kutler wrote. “There is no place for violence in America, political or otherwise.”

The world is mourning the tragic loss of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated during a speaking event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
Since the Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot, tributes have been pouring in, including people at the highest levels of government, down to students who were inspired by Kirk’s persona and message. 
A plethora of Hollywood celebrities and influencers also offered condolences. 
“Praying for Charlie Kirk right now, for his wife and young children, for our country. We need God’s grace. God help us,” actor Chris Pratt <a href="https://x.com/prattprattpratt/status/1965865270536478958">wrote</a> in an X post that’s been viewed more than 24 million times.
“It was an honor to know Charlie Kirk, and sing at his events. He was a true Christian, and is now seeing Jesus face to face. Pray for his family and friends. RIP Charlie, you made a difference in this world, and you will be sorely missed,” country singer John Rich <a href="https://x.com/johnrich/status/1965880336912650353">shared</a> on X. 
“I enjoyed dinners with Charlie, but worried for his safety,” actor James Woods <a href="https://x.com/RealJamesWoods/status/1965910496357568710">wrote</a>. “The left says they want ‘national conversations.’ Charlie Kirk actually did just that. In the lion’s den, no less, at left leaning venues, hoping facts and common sense would prevail. And they murdered him for it.”
Woods also shared a photo of Kirk with his wife and children, writing, “This is what they destroyed today. I am so heartbroken, I can’t speak.”

Former California Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote on X, “My heart is with Charlie Kirk’s family, and with the United States. Politics has become a disease in this country, and it’s deadly. But don’t listen to the pessimists who say there is no cure. There is a cure. It is inside of us. We must find our better angels and walk back from the extremes. If we can’t agree on anything else, we must find agreement that we don’t solve our debates with violence. This is a horrible tragedy. ‘God Help Us’: Celebrities React In Shock To Charlie Kirk Assassination

Singer D4vd is not pausing his world tour following the discovery of a decomposing, dismembered body in the trunk of a car registered in his name.
The 20-year-old, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, is reportedly cooperating with the investigation. 
“D4vd has been informed about what’s happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities,” his spokesperson said in a statement.
Los Angeles police are looking into the discovery of the unidentified woman’s remains, which were found in bags inside an abandoned Tesla that had been taken to the city impound. The car was searched after employees reported a foul stench coming from the vehicle.
Not much is known about the victim, except that she is 5’2” and had wavy black hair. She is also reported to have the word “Shhh…” tattooed on one of her fingers. Details were also released about the clothing she was wearing, but no updates were given on her age or race.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide, per <a href="https://www.foxla.com/news/la-coroner-releases-details-body-found-tesla-d4vd">Fox 11</a>, but no person of interest has been named.
“We know that we have human remains and we know they were contained within a vehicle,” said Alan Hamilton, LAPD Chief of Detectives.
“We are going to continue the investigation and when a determination is made that potentially there was a homicide, then it will transition into a homicide investigation.”
Burke first gained recognition on TikTok before being signed to Darkroom and Interscope Records. The “Romantic Homicide” singer has 2 million followers on Instagram and 5.4 billion streams on Spotify, per <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/09/10/entertainment/d4vd-criminal-case-takes-interesting-turn-murder-victim-idd-as-female/">The New York Post</a>.
His next show is slated for Wednesday night in Kansas City, Missouri.

Singer Stays On Tour After Dismembered, Decomposing Body Discovered In His Tesla

Whoopi Goldberg is once again claiming that one reason she won’t retire from hosting “The View” is that she doesn’t have enough money.
The 69-year-old comedian discussed the situation during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. When asked if she was ready to slow down and enjoy her life, Goldberg replied, “Yeah, but who can afford to do that? You know if you don’t marry well, you gotta keep working.”
The interviewer pressed on that point, saying Goldberg may be someone who could afford to retire. “No, not by now. Not yet,” the “Sister Act” star insisted.
At another point, Goldberg said, “I’ve got to keep paying those bills, baby.”

This isn’t the first time the host of “The View” indicated that she hadn’t earned enough money to step back from her career. 
In November 2024, Goldberg indicated she was “working class” because she was still working.

Goldberg and the other panelists on “The View” have been mocked for years for their stridently partisan opinions. They are currently in full meltdown mode over Trump’s second presidency, criticizing him for his stance on almost everything. 
Joy Behar, 83, also spoke with Entertainment Tonight, saying she wasn’t planning to retire either. She said it had to do with creativity, not finances.
“I just really like to write and create stuff,” she said. “Creative people don’t retire, they don’t resign, they just keep going,” she added.

Yesterday, we lost the voice of an entire generation, and I lost my closest mentor and a truly wonderful friend.

Charlie Kirk wasn’t just a political leader. He was a husband, father, mentor, and true friend who embodied the biblical principles of Salt and Light in every part of his life.  He was like salt as a preserver and enhancer of culture, and like light as a sharer of the illumination of God’s truth to people everywhere. From the stage to the green room, from political tabling debates to late-night Cubs games, Charlie’s legacy is one of steadfast goodness, graciousness, courage, faith, and fearlessness.

I don’t know what comes next, truthfully, but I do know that we need to share this heartbreak together. When everything feels hopeless, we can remain grounded in the hope of eternal life–where today, Charlie is more alive than we are.

Today, we remember Charlie’s extraordinary mission. His unshakable dedication to God, his family, his friends, and an entire generation that he inspired to speak the truth no matter the cost. The mission doesn’t end here. It’s time for all of us to pick up the torch and carry it forward.
