Pence, National Review: Here’s Why Dems’ ‘For The People Act’ Is Dangerous

On Monday, the editors of National Review issued a scathing editorial in which they elucidated the goals of the Democratic Party as delineated in the so-called “For the People Act,” also known as H.R. 1. The act was passed in the House last Wednesday night. Not a single Republican voted for it, and one Democrat, Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, voted against it.

Prior to the the bill’s passage in the House, former Vice President Mike Pence had published an op-ed for the Heritage Foundation in which he noted:
