Paris Hilton just revealed that she recently welcomed her first child with husband Carter Reum.
“It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy,” the 41-year-old former reality star told People magazine.
“You are already loved beyond words,” Hilton shared with her Instagram followers Tuesday, along with a close-up photo of her holding the newborn’s tiny hand.

Hilton had previously discussed her intention to undergo IVF (in-vitro fertilization) to have a child. People reported that the child was born via surrogate, but Hilton has not confirmed that detail.
“We knew we wanted to start a family,” she said during an interview in December. “And I was like, ‘This is perfect timing. Usually I’m on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let’s just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,’ and we have tons of them just waiting.”
During an April podcast appearance, Hilton talked about her marriage and the couple’s intention to have children together.
“I love being married. I just feel like I finally found my perfect match and I just feel so safe,” she said while speaking with “The Bellas Podcast.”
“I finally have my home and I just can’t wait to start a family and have kids.”
The socialite went on to discuss how she and Reum had “been talking about kids since the beginning — since the first couple, like, months of dating,” Hilton said that the pair “would love to have twins.”
“I think that would be amazing,” Hilton said before confirming she wanted three or four kids.
During an interview last fall with E! News, Paris’s mom Kathy said her daughter was “trying and trying” to get pregnant but hadn’t been successful so far.
“It breaks my heart because I know she is trying and trying,” she continued. “I always say, ‘Just relax.’ So many people, they struggle and it doesn’t just happen like that.”
