On Monday night, Vice President Joe Biden showed his true colors by blasting Israel just hours after a massive terrorist attack in Jerusalem that left two buses engulfed in flames and dozens injured.

In a speech to the Israel-bashing “pro peace” advocacy group J Street, Biden declared that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “leading the country in the wrong direction,” adding:

I firmly believe that the actions that Israel’s government has taken over the past several years — the steady and systematic expansion of settlements, the legalization of outposts, land seizures — they’re moving us, and, more importantly, they’re moving Israel in the wrong direction.

The insult against the Jewish State was only compounded by the fact that JStreet happens to be a fringe Leftist group with an openly hostile relationship with some Israeli officials. Many Israeli officials are suspicious of JStreet’s motives. Some have even refused to attend its so-called “pro-Israel,” “pro-Palestinian,” “pro-Peace” conferences altogether. JStreet “is a unique problem in that it not only opposes one policy of one Israeli government, it opposes all policies of all Israeli governments. It’s significantly out of the mainstream,” asserted Israeli ambassador to the United States Michael Oren.

Biden, it seems, couldn’t care less. While he carefully slapped Palestinian leadership on the wrist for its genocidal anti-Semitic call to arms, Biden saved most of his anger for Israel. “Biden did single out Palestinian leaders, including Mahmoud Abbas, for declining to condemn specific acts of terrorism carried out against Israelis,” reports Fox News. “The vice president said he didn’t know whether Monday’s explosion was a terrorist attack, but added that the U.S. condemns ‘misguided cowards’ who resort to violence.”

Shamelessly, Biden reserved the bulk of his scorn for Netanyahu, while refusing to even call the bus explosions a terrorist attack; 21 innocent people were wounded in the attack. This comes after both local Jerusalem Police officials and Israeli domestic intelligence services confirmed, without question, that the assault on Jerusalem was a full-fledged terrorist attack.

If there was ever a doubt that the Obama administration harbors strong anti-Israel sentiments, it should have been squashed on Monday. It looks like Obama minions are once again doing what they do best: Blaming the Joos.
