Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) made outrageous claims, without evidence, about her tour of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection immigrant detention facility which prompted an immediate response from officials who strongly disputed her claims.
Ocasio-Cortez claimed without evidence that CBP officers told detained women to drink from the toilets if they were thirsty while Ocasio-Cortez stood there and witnessed it.
