“Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall admitted her views on plastic surgery have changed over time and insisted it’s “not just a vanity thing” but a matter of being able to find employment.
The 66-year-old actress said now that she’s older, she doesn’t mind checking out all of the things available to a person if they have the money, be it surgery, fillers, or other cosmetic procedures, The Times UK reported.
“I’m in my sixties now and I’m all about battling aging in every way I can,” Cattrall said. “There are fillers, Botox, there’s so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it’s for you.”
“But yes, if you have the money and, more importantly, the right surgeon,” she added. “It can’t be emphasized enough. You want to look like you!”

“It’s not just a vanity thing,” Cattrall continued. “I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way. And professionally I am looking after myself.”
The comments come following the shocking news that the actress would be returning to the popular HBO show and reprising her role of Samantha Jones in the rebooted second season of the series “And Just Like That…”
The extent of her involvement was a bit unclear until fans recently learned that it would reportedly be a cameo with no interaction with her former co-stars. Tension reportedly exists between Cattrall and her former colleagues, especially Sarah Jessica Parker, People magazine noted.
In 2017, Cattrall told Piers Morgan that she’d “never been friends” with any of her former co-stars on the hit show.

“This is really where I take to task the people from ‘Sex and the City,’ and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker,” the actress said. “I think she could’ve been nicer. I really think she could’ve been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is.”
