Rapper Nicki Minaj on Saturday reacted to Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro landing the top spot on iTunes for his featured rap in Tom MacDonald’s song “Facts.”

Shapiro notably tagged Minaj, real name Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, in a post on Friday afternoon, writing, “Hey, [Nicki Minaj], it’s great to join you atop the iTunes rap charts. Sorry, correction, you’re a few slots lower.”

Shapiro and MacDonald later hit the number one spot on iTunes and Minaj responded to the song with some humor.

“I just listened to it [Ben Shapiro] not bad. Congrats on #1,” she wrote. “But it def sounds like Roman’s Revenge when the beat first came in…idk.” “Roman’s Revenge” is one of the rapper’s hit songs.

Minaj further commented on the rap. “Ben Shapiro put out a diss record. He said his comment sections are filled with woke Karens. The song is #1 on US iTunes,” she said, adding numerous crying-laughing emojis.

“What is [really] happening & who is that other man rapping???? Is this real life??!! He said ‘Nicki take some notes,’ nah,” the 41-year-old said, referring to MacDonald. Minaj again added laughing emojis.

She also had a laugh about Shapiro being in the top spot after one of her fans encouraged people to support Minaj to become number one on iTunes and pass up Shapiro.

“Ben Shapiro? Ben Shapiro is #1 on iTunes?  this better be a good edit. BARBZ if y’all don’t quit playin!!!”

Shapiro on Friday mentioned Minaj in another post, referencing her beef with rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Hey [Megan Thee Stallion], we’re coming for thee,” Shapiro posted, adding, “Also, [Nicki Minaj] is correct about your flow.”

As highlighted by The Daily Wire, “Facts” goes after the establishment and mainstream media “sacred cows,” and also hit the #1 spot on the hip-hop/rap chart, passing up top artists such as Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, and Eminem.

“I just want to thank God, [Tom MacDonald], and my parents, who paid for 15 years of classical violin lessons so I could become the #1 rapper in America,” Shapiro quipped on X, after the song hit the #1 spot on iTunes hip-hop/rap chart.

“We’re now #1 overall on iTunes, too,” he said in a follow-up post. “On the way, we knocked off, among others, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and Taylor Swift. [Tom MacDonald] and I have officially made hip-hop great again, as was always my lifelong dream.”
