<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rapper Nicki Minaj has been engaged in a public back-and-forth with California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, calling him out for his radical stance on “gender affirming” surgery for minors, among other things.</span></p>
<p>Most recently, Newsom drew another round of responses from Minaj after he posted a wordless compilation on X, punctuated only by a zipped-lip emoji. The 12-second clip featured footage of President Donald Trump alongside the late Jeffrey Epstein, all set to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” — widely interpreted as a diss track aimed at Minaj.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minaj responded to the clip, saying, “See Barbz? I told you he was wicked.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The drama began last week when Newsom went all in for transing the kids, even as the concept has been receiving less mainstream support.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I want to see trans kids… There’s no governor that’s done more pro-trans legislation than I have. Not even a trans ADULT would run on that,” Minaj posted on Friday morning in response to the clip. “Normal adults wake up &amp; think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids. Not Gav, The Gav Nots, GavOUT. Send in the next guy, I’m bored.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The rapper’s diatribe continued with more criticism for the governor. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Amid her criticism of Newsom, Minaj also expressed support for President Trump’s administration.</span></p>
