Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, was arrested on Wednesday morning.
The 22-year-old was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center in Kansas on a $100,000 bond, ESPN reported. He’s been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of battery, according to online records.
Overland Park Police confirmed to KCTV5 that Mahomes’ arrest stemmed from an alleged incident in February in which a female owner of a local restaurant accused the NFL star’s brother of assaulting her.

TMZ broadcast surveillance video on Wednesday that appeared to show Jackson coming up behind a woman while holding her neck and kissing her. He walked away and came back a few minutes later and appeared to grab her a second time as she pushed him away.
The woman in the video owns Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas, a Kansas City suburb. The misdemeanor battery charge is from a separate incident in which Jackson allegedly shoved a member of the restaurant’s wait staff.
When the initial accusations surfaced in March, Mahomes’ attorney, Brandon Davies, denied the accusations against his client, ESPN noted.
“We have provided law enforcement with the tools and evidence they need to evaluate the claims against Jackson,” Davies said in a statement at the time.
“Every interaction between people needs to be placed in the proper context,” the statement added. “Releasing a short clip of any video does not provide proper context. We have faith in the process and look forward to a swift resolution of the matter.”
