Welcome to the latest installment of “Beto O’Rourke: Real Person,” starring everyone’s favorite deep thinker, Robert Francis O’Rourke. You’ve enjoyed previous episodes, we’re sure, such as Beto Goes On the Road, Beto Goes To The Dentist, Beto Gets A Haircut, and Beto Changes A Tire.

Now you can enjoy “Beto Flips Burgers.”

As noted by The Daily Wire, Beto O’Rourke Goes On The Road featured “a series of interminable videos of him driving during the campaign while he played rock music in the car, whether it was driving to Waco through the rain, driving to Houston at night, driving to Laredo, and driving to Killeen, among others.”

Beto Goes to the Dentist featured a “video showing him getting a mouth-wide-open cleaning in order to highlight the story of his dental hygienist’s upbringing in El Paso,” as Fox News reported. Fox News added, “With dental tools jammed into either side of his mouth, O’Rourke introduced his dental hygienist as part of his Instagram story ‘series’ on ‘people of the border.’”

Beto Gets A Haircut featured O’Rourke chatting with the barber in Spanish before another customer entered, and much to O’Rourke’s chagrin, recognized O’Rourke’s face but didn’t know who O’Rourke was. The viewers were even subjected to watching O’Rourke receive a back massage given by the barber.

Beto Changing A Tire depicted the forlorn failing presidential candidate fixing a flat tire on a truck.

As recently as two weeks ago, The Daily Wire reported, “The air has indeed gone out of O’Rourke’s candidacy; he is averaging a paltry 2% in the RealClearPolitics average, placing him behind former Vice-President Joe Biden (30.8%), Senator Elizabeth Warren (18.3%), Senator Bernie Sanders (16.5%), Senator Kamala Harris (8.3%), and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg (6.5%).”

It’s unlikely that O’Rourke will ever be forced to actually flipping burgers for a job; as AP noted in October 2018, “O’Rourke had a 2015 net worth of about $9 million, ranking 51st out of 435 House members, according to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics. That’s more than double the $3.8 million worth of his Republican opponent, Sen. Ted Cruz, who ranked 41st of 100 senators. O’Rourke and his family live in a hilltop, Hacienda-style, 4,700 square-foot home in El Paso, while Cruz, his wife and daughters have a well-appointed condo in an elegant corner of Houston.”

Additionally, O’Rourke’s father-in-law, Bill Sanders, is reputedly worth $500 million.

On the other hand, in April, speaking in Wisconsin, O’Rourke spoke of the Vanity Fair issue that featured him on the cover, asserting that he was “born to serve.” He said, “I saw the cover with that quote ‘born to run’ or ‘born to do this’ and I was like, man, I hope I didn’t say that. I think the context of that, which makes sense and is the way that I feel, is that I’m born to serve. I’m born to try to help bring people together.”

Perhaps the “born to serve” mantra is connected to flipping burgers?
