Appearing on an episode of “Dr. Phil,” Daily Wire podcast host and author Matt Walsh challenged guests pushing radical leftist gender ideology.

In one segment, the author pushed back on so-called “preferred pronouns” to which others are expected to conform, lest they be labeled a bigot.

“You don’t get your own pronouns, just like you don’t get your own prepositions or your own adjectives,” Walsh said. “It’s like if I were to tell you, my adjectives are handsome and brilliant, and whenever you’re talking about me, you have to describe me as handsome and brilliant, because that’s how I identify.”

“[That] makes no sense,” he added. “You don’t get your own pronouns.”

In another segment, Walsh challenged a guest, an LGBT activist who goes by Addison, to define the term “woman,” after the guest asserted that “transgender women are women.”

“What is a woman? Can you tell me what a woman is?” Walsh queried.

“Womanhood is … something that I cannot define,” Addison said.

“But you used the word,” Walsh pushed back. “So what did you mean when you said, ‘Trans women are women’?”

“I do not define what a woman is because I do not identity as a woman,” Addison responded. “Womanhood is something that is an umbrella term.”

“That describes what?” Walsh interjected.

“People who identify as a woman,” Addison said.

Walsh, again, pressed, “Identify as what?”

“As a woman,” Addison said. “What is that?” Walsh pressed.

“To each their own,” said Addison, adding that “each person” is “going to have a different relation with their own gender identity and define it differently. So, trans women are women.”

“You won’t even tell me what the word means though, so that’s the problem,” Walsh responded. “… What you want to do is appropriate womanhood, and turn it into, basically, a costume that could be worn.”

Walsh launched his children’s book in November, called “Johnny the Walrus,” which tackles the issue of radical transgender ideology foisted on children.

The book features a young boy named Johnny with a wild imagination. The child envisions himself as many things, including a walrus. His progressive mommy knows her boy is a boy but becomes pressured by her friends on social media to treat and “transition” her child to live his true identity as a walrus. “But will Johnny be happy in his trans-walrus identity?” Walsh said. “Read and find out.”

As highlighted by The Daily Wire, Walsh was suspended from left-wing platform Twitter earlier this month over tweets he posted recognizing biological realities and not so-called “gender identity.”

“The greatest female Jeopardy champion of all time is a man,” Walsh posted to Twitter — a tweet the left-wing site has now censored. “The top female college swimmer is a man. The first female four star admiral in the Public Health Service is a man. Men have dominated female high school track and the female MMA circuit. The patriarchy wins in the end.”

Another tweet, which has also been censored by Twitter, reads, “I am not referring to an individual person as if she is two people. Everyone else can run around sounding like maniacs if they want but I will not be participating. No thank you.”
