Mike Rowe and John Rich have launched a new Christmas tune featuring a collaboration with the Oak Ridge Boys in the viral “Santa’s Gotta Dirty Job” that is already topping the charts at Apple Music.
Rowe, host of “Dirty Jobs,” and Rich, known for his efforts with Big & Rich, decided to go big in an effort to bring Christmas cheer and help a good cause.
According to the video’s description, Mike and John were talking and decided, “Ya know, Santa Claus has a really dirty job when you think about it!”
The duo added, “We think ‘Santa’s Gotta Dirty Job’ could be a new classic for every Christmas to come. Give it a view, sit back and smile!”
The lyrics add fresh humor to the traditional Santa story, noting, “Santa Claus got a dirty job / And he does it all night long,” in the chorus.
The first verse adds, “Well, every year old Santa Claus loads up in his sleigh / And them reindeer running in front of him kick mud up in his face.”
“Santa’s Gotta Dirty Job” has already shot up the music charts, with Rich spotting it at number three on Apple Music as of Tuesday morning.

Rowe has been known for criticizing the Democrats’ push for all young Americans to attend four-year colleges, as well as making college “free” for all. The Daily Wire previously reported:
Rowe was responding to a question from a fan who noted of liberal HBO host Bill Maher’s recent anti-college rant that he said mirrored many points Rowe has been arguing for years. During the segment, Maher notably said higher education institutions “have turned into giant luxury daycare centers with overpaid babysitters” and stated that he’s “not f***ing paying” for so-called “free” college.
Here’s the question posed to Rowe from a fan named Tim Boyer:
Mike – Bill Maher’s current rant on higher ed is almost identical to everything you’ve been saying for the last thirteen years through mikeroweWORKS. I mean, like, literally identical. How do you feel? Ripped off? Flattered? Or maybe, a bit disturbed that you and Bill Maher see eye to eye on more than a few issues here of late…
“If I were to learn that Bill Maher used mikeroweWORKS as a resource for the contents of his most recent rant, I’d be nothing but flattered,” Rowe responded. “I built mikeroweWORKS, in part anyway, to be a resource for people who wanted to reconsider the conventional wisdom that college is the best path for the most people. However, everything I believe to be true regarding that issue, I’ve learned from researching the work of others.”
