Actor Michael Rapaport expressed his disdain for repeat offenders being released in New York City as a way of protesting the election of far-Left NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.
“I’m sorry you’re a psychopath. I’m sorry you’re mentally ill. But I don’t need you walking around me. I don’t need you walking around my wife. My wife was groped in New York City in broad daylight,” the 55-year-old comedian said.
Rapaport went on to relay the story of how his wife and her friend went to see a show in the city. After they left, they were walking down the sidewalk when a man approached her and “rubbed up on her.”

“Violated my wife in New York City,” the actor seethed during a clip from his podcast that he shared on X.
“I don’t want people like that walking around my wife,” he added. “I don’t want people that have been arrested 14 times, for whatever reason, walking around my wife, walking around my kids. Nor should you, and it has nothing to do with politics.”
“Put them in a f***ing zoo,” Rapaport concluded.
The comments were filled with followers applauding the celeb, likening his rant to a red pill moment.

Bestselling author Jodi Picoult went on a full TikTok tirade over the reactions to Charlie Kirk’s murder.
The 59-year-old fiction writer, who has sold more than 40 million copies of her 28 published novels and short stories, is receiving a significant amount of backlash for her angry rant.
“An undeserved violent death does not negate the terrible pain that he inflicted on others,” <a href="https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1967347462051704996">Picoult said</a>. “I&#8217;m not buying into the hypocrisy.”
“You won&#8217;t trick me into believing it&#8217;s just about respect for life when your side has cheered families being ripped apart, when your side has proudly supported Alligator Alcatraz merch,” the “My Sister’s Keeper” author continued.
Picoult went on to accuse conservatives of “immediately jump[ing] to blame trans people and targeting HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), even though — shocker! — the shooter was a cis, white man from a Trump-supporting family who was raised to love guns.”
“I have always condemned all gun violence and I will continue to do so, but, as usual, the right only cares about violence when it happens to them. So, you know what? Miss me with the fake self-righteousness.”
Her rant spread quickly on X, sparking fierce opposition. By Monday morning, the TikTok was still public, but once it went viral, Picoult locked it down to private.
“Totally unhinged,” Libs of TikTok replied to the clip.
“Jodi, you write novels where the bad guy always gets exposed in the end. Congratulations, you’ve just made yourself the villain in real life,” another commenter <a href="https://x.com/merikuh/status/1967347960976654797">wrote</a>.
“Another brainwashed liberal spreading lies about Charlie Kirk. You can guarantee these people never watched any of Charlie’s videos. They live in their echo chambers believing each other’s lies,” a third agreed, vowing to boycott Picoult’s books.
This isn’t the first time the woke side of the publishing industry has shown its blatant bias regarding Kirk’s assassination. Author Stephen King was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stephen-king-walks-back-lie-about-charlie-kirk-with-half-hearted-apology">forced to apologize</a> after falsely accusing Kirk of advocating for gay people being stoned to death. 
The horror writer admitted his statement was untrue and deleted the original after social media comments flooded in, with followers proving him wrong.

Author Jodi Picoult Melts Down On TikTok, Lashes Out At Charlie Kirk Supporters

The days following the assassination of Charlie Kirk have been filled with tributes, both public and private, including from major corporations and celebrities. 
Ahead of Sunday’s NFL games, a league spokesperson said it would be left to individual teams to decide whether to acknowledge Charlie Kirk’s tragic death. Some clubs chose to do so, while others did not.
The Tennessee Titans displayed a photo of Kirk and his family on the Jumbotron while observing a moment of silence before the game.
The Miami Dolphins also held a moment of silence for Kirk, the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and “any other victims of violence.” They also offered a “prayer for unity in our country.”
The New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, and Dallas Cowboys honored Kirk’s memory, while the New Orleans Saints held a moment of silence.

The Kansas City Chiefs made an announcement at Arrowhead Stadium before their game Sunday night. It said, “Our nation has witnessed several acts of senseless violence in recent weeks, including the deaths of schoolchildren in Colorado, churchgoers in Minnesota, and Charlie Kirk in Utah.”
“At this time, we ask you to join us in a moment of silence as we remember those we have lost.”
The Pittsburgh Steelers did not hold an audible tribute but marked the occasion with a pregame flyover and flags at half-staff.
Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, and Minnesota Vikings chose not to hold any tributes for Kirk.
The Colts explained that the team instead held a moment of silence for Forrest Lucas, founder of Lucas Oil, the namesake of their stadium. They noted this tribute had been scheduled since his death last month. 
Prior to the weekend, the Green Bay Packers held a moment of silence before their Thursday night game against the Washington Commanders on September 11, one day after Kirk’s assassination.

“There have been a variety of moments of silence and tributes in-stadium and on-air in all games or a game immediately following events that rise to a national level. Clubs also often hold moments following a tragic event that affects their community.”
Outside of football, other professional sports teams also paid tribute, including Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Blake Treinen, who wrote “Charlie Kirk” on the side of his hat between two crosses. The New York Yankees also observed a moment of silence before their game on Wednesday. 
A memorial for Kirk <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/charlie-kirk-memorial-to-be-held-next-sunday-in-massive-nfl-stadium">will be held</a> next Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Glendale. The venue seats 63,000 people.

NFL Didn’t Require Tributes, But Teams Honored Charlie Kirk Anyway

Daily Wire podcast host Michael Knowles made an appearance on &#8220;Fox News @ Night&#8221; on Thursday to discuss the impact of Charlie Kirk’s assassination on our nation.
Host Trace Gallagher asked Knowles to react to a comment that Director of Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard made comparing Kirk’s assassin to the terrorists who attacked the United States on 9/11.
“There’s a common characteristic between Charlie Kirk’s assassin and the Islamist terrorist organization Al Qaeda who attacked us on 9/11 in that they both sought to silence those who they did not agree with. They both recognized that their ideologies, their views, would not stand up to being challenged,” Gabbard said.  
Gallagher asked Knowles to expand on the idea.
“Of course I think that’s why Charlie’s death is hitting so many millions of people in such a profound way,” the podcast host began. “You know, all of us were friends with the guy, but he had so many more millions of admirers … grown men who have broken down sobbing &#8212; and they texted me this. And they couldn’t figure out why. But I think it’s because Charlie was the most significant political figure of his generation. We all thought he was going to be president someday.”
He went on to explain how the radical Left saw Kirk as a threat because he was powerful without being in power.
“He didn’t hold office. And he didn’t pass laws. And he didn’t wield direct political power,” Knowles observed. “All this guy did was go into hostile territory and sit down and try to talk out the issue respectfully, generously, graciously, as always. And I think a lot of people feel a great fear and sadness that not only did this great man die, but that the idea might have died as well.”
The podcast host also noted how Kirk was consistent in his messaging.
“One of my favorite things about Charlie, and I had many favorite things, is that he applied eternal principles to constantly changing political circumstances. And he was the very best at going out and having open discourse in an open field in this case. And if the opponents would not tolerate that in the end … the Left simply would not tolerate that and murdered him for it, then I think that we need to restore order in a way that has a little bit more force to it … to prevent these tragedies from happening in the future.”

Michael Knowles Reflects On Why Charlie Kirk’s Death Feels So ‘Profound’ For People

Avowed leftist author Stephen King was forced to admit his error and apologize after being caught spreading lies about slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
As other &#8220;progressives&#8221; on social media tried to justify the brutal assassination of Kirk at a free speech event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, King piled on by sharing a tweet that said, “He advocated stoning gays to death. Just sayin.’”
Multiple accounts swarmed the comments with evidence of Kirk being civil towards gay people while presenting socially conservative viewpoints and maintaining a biblical view of marriage in his personal life. 
Kirk’s fans and friends went after King, sharing clips of the TPUSA founder speaking with gay people and welcoming them to the conservative movement.
“Hey [Stephen King], you are more monstrous than any of the characters you ever came up with. Charlie was never anything but kind to me and my husband,” conservative commentator Dave Rubin <a href="https://x.com/RubinReport/status/1966299918202540515">replied</a> on X.
“We broke bread many times, and he never treated us with anything other than respect. He even came to our house not too long ago and plot twist, didn’t throw rocks at us. Write about that sometime, you hack,” he added.
“Why would Stephen King post something so blatantly false?” X owner Elon Musk wondered.
Others shared screenshots of Kirk’s previous tweets, including one that said, “I believe marriage is one man one woman. Also gay people should be welcome in the conservative movement. As Christians we are called to love everyone. I will always stand against people who wish to establish their own personal values as a reason to kick others out of the movement.”
The backlash and facts became so severe that King backtracked and apologized on Friday morning.
“I apologize for saying Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays. What he actually demonstrated was how some people cherry-pick Biblical passages,” the horror author <a href="https://x.com/StephenKing/status/1966474125616013664">wrote</a>.

Stephen King Walks Back Lie About Charlie Kirk With Half-Hearted Apology

President Donald Trump stopped by “Fox &amp; Friends” Friday morning to do a studio interview and share updates on the capture of Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer. During the course of the conversation, the president related a personal anecdote about what Kirk meant to his youngest son, Barron.
“He was very hurt when he saw this. But, I mean, everybody was,” the president said.
Trump <a href="https://x.com/FreyjaTarte/status/1966494250364702787">recalled</a> that Barron, who is currently living in the White House while attending college at New York University’s DC campus, once asked his dad to make an introduction.
“Barron came to me and he said, ‘Dad, I’d like to meet somebody that you know, Charlie Kirk.’ … I thought he was gonna say he wanted to meet like King Charles or something … and I set up a lunch &#8230; and he came back and said, ‘That guy’s great, Dad. That guy’s great.’ It was cute,” Trump said during the studio interview.
He added, “Charlie had a magic over the kids and large numbers of them, and very diverse, black, white. I mean, everybody, the young women and boys, and I’ve never seen anything like it.”
“We lost an unbelievable warrior,” Trump added.
Kirk was known for his influence over young people and his willingness to engage in debate with them, empowering young conservatives to speak the truth on hostile, liberal college campuses.
“It’s kind of scary to say what you believe in, especially in this cancel culture,” Porter LaFeber, a student at Utah Valley University, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/11/us/charlie-kirk-men.html">told</a> The New York Times. “Charlie Kirk seemed like he just went totally above that. He kind of gave a voice to the people that were maybe a little bit scared.”
“He gave me the confidence to be able to believe what I believe,” LaFeber added.
On Thursday night, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested in connection with Kirk’s assassination. Robinson was a resident of Utah but did not attend UVU.
