Hard-left, anti-cop New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is eyeing a presidential run in 2020, according to a report by The New York Post’s Richard Johnson.
Citing interviews with New York City political operatives, Johnson suggests that de Blasio has been hard at work attracting donors from across the country who want to support a further left alternative to what they anticipate will be a more mainstream slate from the DNC. “De Blasio, 56, will claim he’s the rightful standard bearer for the progressive wing of the Democratic party,” writes Johnson.
