Hard-left, anti-cop New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is eyeing a presidential run in 2020, according to a <a href="http://pagesix.com/2017/08/13/mayor-bill-de-blasio-may-be-running-for-president/">report</a> by The New York Post&#8217;s Richard Johnson.
Citing interviews with New York City political operatives, Johnson suggests that de Blasio has been hard at work attracting donors from across the country who want to support a further left alternative to what they anticipate will be a more mainstream slate from the DNC. &#8220;De Blasio, 56, will claim he&#8217;s the rightful standard bearer for the progressive wing of the Democratic party,&#8221; writes Johnson.
