Lady Gaga’s outfits and rhetoric are frightening enough for those who value dignity, but her comment regarding Mother’s Day this year may be her most terrifying statement yet:
Yes, that icon of respectability, the same woman who had a dancer upchuck on her in the middle of the stage because she’s always looking to push the envelope of disgusting behavior, decided to tell Americans that the same woman who is so in tune with the idea of motherhood that she has championed murdering babies at birth would be the mother America needs.
Of course, Lady Gaga takes the idea that she might be influencing children and teens very seriously.
The pop singer has famously said, “I’m teaching people to worship themselves,” as well as, “On Born This Way, I’m writing more about pop culture as religion, my identity as my religion: ‘I will fight and bleed to the death for my identity.’ I am my own sanctuary and I can be reborn as many times as I choose throughout my life.”
Lady Gaga has consistently mocked Christianity, which should fit with Hillary Clinton’s own view of religious Christians.
Hillary as mother of the country? If her position on childbirth is akin to her plans for the nation, don’t give her a scissors.
