Reality star Kylie Jenner got slammed for what some called “disturbing” and “horrifying” images of her wearing a giant lion head dress at Paris Fashion Week on Monday.
The 25-year-old “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” alum posted a handful of photos on Instagram, and not long after, followers started calling her out for promoting “hunting” and “animal cruelty,” Page Six reported.
In the series of photos from Schiaparelli’s show, Jenner is seen posing in a black strapless full-length dress with a huge, life-sized stuffed lion head attached to the top portion.

She captioned her post, “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. thank you [danielroseberry] and [schiaparelli] for such a special morning. wow I loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials. Beautiful beautiful.”
However, reading through the comments, people blasted “The Kardashians” star for not realizing how “wrong” the imagery was.
“But why. Why why why even imitate this,” one person wrote. “I’m thankful it’s faux but the imagery is still disturbing.”
Another shared, “Why are you wearing [an] animal’s head on your dress? Faux or not… it doesn’t make sense to me?”
“Guess more Americans will be flocking to Africa now to get the latest wildlife accessories,” one follower wrote. “Promoting hunting. As a South African, This is wrong on so many levels, The king of our jungle is not a fashion statement, like WTF.”
While another shared, “Kylie I love your style but this is wrong, This promotes animal cruelty. It is a terrible fashion mistake! Please stop!”
Another person wrote, “[Whether] it’s ‘man made’ or not this looks eerily real and disturbing.”
“I think that’s kind of horrifying that she would wear that on a dress,” a follower added.
Interestingly, celebrities who follow the reality star had only praise for Jenner’s “big Leo Energy.”
The Kardashian was also photographed at the Paris fashion show next to singer Doja Cat, who made headlines herself after showing up wearing red paint head-to-toe covered in 30,000 blood-red Swarovski crystals.
