Kelly Osbourne said she hid for all nine months of her pregnancy because she didn’t “want to get fat-shamed” before giving birth to her first child, a baby boy, earlier this year.
The 38-year-old singer/actress posted two photos on Instagram and fans noticed a difference in her appearance, which sparked a question from one person asking about the lack of photos of her being pregnant, wondering if it was because she hired a surrogate to carry her son with boyfriend Sid Wilson, Sydney, the “Today” show reported.
“There are no pictures of me pregnant because I hid for 9 months because I did not want to get fat shamed,” Osbourne wrote on social media.

She also hit back at the suggestions that she might’ve had some work done on her neck and face, after fans thought she looked different than earlier posts.
“It’s just from weight loss,” Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter replied. “Honestly I’ve only had Botox.”
The TV personality has spoken in the past about how being body shamed took a toll on her mental health. In 2021, the singer slammed a tabloid to get a comment from her about her changing weight, the outlet noted.
“This past year has been the hardest year of my life,” Sharon Osbourne’s daughter wrote in an Instagram Story, at the time.
“I was completely and utterly broken,” she added. “I am still putting myself back together again. I am happy. I am healthy and that’s all that should matter.”
A year later, the fashion designer shared the exciting news she was expecting her first child.
“I know that I have been quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why …” Osbourne captioned her post with a picture of a sonogram.
“I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma,” she added. “To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!”
In January, her mom Sharon spilled the beans that Kelly had given birth and her grandson’s name, a move that did not make Kelly happy.
She later wrote on Instagram, “I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one’s place but mine to share any information on my baby.”
