<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/julia-roberts-on-her-decision-to-not-star-in-rom-coms-in-the-last-20-years-and-the-pride-she-has-in-being-a-homemaker" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Julia Roberts</a>  discussed her &#8220;G-rated career&#8221; and her refusal to do nude scenes for movies in a wide-ranging interview for <a href="https://www.vogue.co.uk/article/julia-roberts-british-vogue-cover-interview">British Vogue</a> magazine&#8217;s February issue.
The 56-year-old actress told the outlet that things she chooses &#8220;not to do&#8221; in her professional life are what represent her, noting never doing nudity in movies.
&#8220;Not to be criticizing others&#8217; choices, but for me to not take off my clothes in a movie or be vulnerable in physical ways is a choice that I guess I make for myself,&#8221; Roberts said. &#8220;But in effect, I&#8217;m choosing not to do something as opposed to choosing to do something.&#8221;

The &#8220;Pretty Woman&#8221; star also talked about how much the movie industry has changed since she started out in Hollywood.
&#8220;Oh, it&#8217;s completely different from my time,&#8221; Roberts said. &#8220;I mean, that&#8217;s when I really feel like a dinosaur, when you just look at the structure of the business. It&#8217;s completely different.&#8221;
&#8220;I don&#8217;t know if it&#8217;s better, because it&#8217;s not my experience, but it just seems very different,&#8221; she added. &#8220;And in a way, it seems so cluttered.&#8221;

In 2007, Roberts talked about not doing &#8220;nudity in films&#8221; and told <a href="https://www.digitalspy.com/showbiz/a81987/roberts-refuses-to-go-nude-in-movies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">OK! Magazine</a> that &#8220;to act with my clothes on is a performance. To act with my clothes off is a documentary.&#8221;
Roberts who married cinematographer Daniel Moder in 2002, became a mom in 2004 when the couple welcomed twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel, and again in 2007 with a son named Henry.
Speaking to the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1161034/I-refuse-nude-sex-scenes-Im-mother-says-Julia-Roberts-returns-London-Duplicity-premiere.html">Daily Mail</a> in 2009, Roberts talked about about not stripping down for films as a mom.
&#8220;You know it&#8217;s not really what I do, so if you are going to ask me to do it, you have to expect it to be toned down,&#8221; the actress said. &#8220;You know, as a mom of three, I feel like that.&#8221;
