John Travolta honored Olivia Newton-John, his co-star in the 1978 hit movie “Grease,” in a commercial from T-Mobile that will air during Super Bowl LVII.
In the one-minute ad, viewers see the 68-year-old actor donning a black leather jacket and white T-shirt reminiscent of the outfit worn by his character Danny Zuko from the classic movie. Travolta appeared in the film alongside Newton-John, who played Sandy.
“Scrubs” actors Zach Braff and Donald Faison join Travolta in singing a song about the phone company set to the tune of “Summer Nights,” which Travolta and Newton-John famously sang together in the movie. The trio also replicates similar moves from the famous movie that fans will recognize.

The four-time Grammy award-winning singer died in August 2022 after a long battle with breast cancer, as The Daily Wire previously reported. She was 73.
In 1992, Newton-John was first diagnosed with cancer and beat it. It returned in 2013, went into remission, and came back once again in 2017.
Following news of her death, celebrities shared loving tributes to Newton-John. In a touching post on Instagram, Travolta wrote that he was her “Danny” forever.

“My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better,” the “Pulp Fiction” star wrote. “Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!”
During the American Music Awards in 2022, singer Pink paid tribute to Newton-John when she sang her famous song “Hopelessly Devoted to You.”
“One Direction” alumnus Harry Styles also dressed as Travolta’s Danny character to sing the same song during a different performance, The New York Post noted.
Newton-John started out in country music before transitioning over to pop, landing such hits as “Let Me Be There,” “I Honestly Love You,” “You’re the One That I Want,” “Magic” and “Physical,” just to name a few.
