<p>Doja Cat piqued her fans&#8217; attention when she shared that she&#8217;s &#8220;quitting the vape&#8221; after she had to undergo throat surgery and have her left tonsil cut into, saying it&#8217;s simply &#8220;not worth it.&#8221;</p>
<p>In a whole host of tweets Thursday, the 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, told her followers the gruesome details about why she had to have the surgery. She added that she&#8217;s really hoping she doesn&#8217;t &#8220;crave it anymore after that,&#8221; saying the idea of going without it forever &#8220;instills panic,&#8221; Yahoo <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/doja-cat-graphically-details-tonsil-150038617.html">reported</a> on Friday.</p>
<p>&#8220;Dr. just had to cut into my left tonsil,&#8221; Doja <a href="https://twitter.com/DojaCat/status/1527417219625324544?s=20&amp;t=gsDRhCvcGPFh4wyrLLsqVQ">tweeted</a> to her five millions of followers. &#8220;I had an abscess in it. <p>&#8220;I was taking f***in[g] antibiotics but forgot that I was taking them and then I drank wine and was vaping all day long and then I started getting a nasty ass growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today,&#8221; she added, referencing images of her drinking and vaping before taking the stage at the Billboard Music Awards to get her award.</p>

<p>The superstar rapper then shared graphic details about the procedure before saying, &#8220;I cried and it hurt a lot but [I&#8217;m] ok.&#8221;</p>
<p>She continued to give more details about the surgery and admitted to one fan that she&#8217;s going to &#8220;try and get&#8221; the tonsils &#8220;removed for sure very soon.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m quitting the vape for a while and hopefully I don&#8217;t crave it anymore after that,&#8221; the &#8220;Woman&#8221; hitmaker shared, adding that she&#8217;s &#8220;too scared to hit&#8221; the vape &#8220;cuz my throat hurts so bad.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I cried for hours,&#8221; the rapper added. &#8220;It&#8217;s not worth it. Then it&#8217;s like imagine all that weird poisonous s*** in the vape seeping into the completely open wound in my throat. Like f*** that. I&#8217;m hella young.&#8221;</p>
<p>When one fan said she should just throw her vapes away, the rapper admitted that doing so &#8220;just instills panic.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m addicted but I&#8217;m not weak,&#8221; Doja Cat said. &#8220;I was literally staring at my vape today that normally I&#8217;d hit a thousand times a day and hit it two times instead. I&#8217;m [gonna] try to go cold turkey for now but hopefully my brain doesn&#8217;t need it at all by then.&#8221;</p>
