The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted the homes of top Palestinian terrorists over the weekend and destroyed a bank that they say was funding terrorism against Israel.
The extremists that were targeted in the latest round of airstrikes included:
- Yahya Sinwar, Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau in Gaza.
- Muhammad Sinwar, Head of Logistics and Manpower for Hamas, brother of Yahya Sinwar.
- Khaled Manamara, commander of the Al-Farka’in Battalion belonging to the Hamas terror organization.
- Raed Saad, Chief of Staff of Hamas Special Operations.
- Tisar Mevasher, commander of the Hamas ‘Karrara’ Battalion in Khan Yunis.
- Azi Tama’a, commander of the Hamas ‘Central Camps’ Brigade in Deir al-Balah.

The IDF’s strikes on terrorist targets inside Gaza came after Palestinian terrorists began launching thousands of rockets at Israeli citizens last week, killing approximately a dozen people and wounding hundreds.
The story follows a number of successful, narrowly-targeted Israeli operations undertaken over the weekend. In one such defensive move, IDF stopped an attempt by Hamas terrorists to launch an explosive-laden drone toward Israel. The terrorists got the drone in the air but Israel shot it down and it fell on top of the terrorists and killed them.
The IDF also destroyed a branch of a Hamas bank, saying: “The strike dealt a significant blow to Hamas’ financial administration, as this branch was used for managing the day-to-day cash flow of Hamas and its military wing.”
Earlier in the day, the IDF leveled a building that contained Hamas assets and was shared by the Associated Press:
A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck a multi-story building which contained military assets belonging to the intelligence offices of the Hamas terror organization.
The building contained civilian media offices, which the Hamas terror organization hides behind and uses as human shields. The Hamas terror organization deliberately places military targets at the heart of densely populated civilian areas in the Gaza Strip.
Prior to the strike, the IDF provided advance warning to civilians in the building and allowed sufficient time for them to evacuate the site.
The IDF has also targeted underground rocket launchers, anti-tank missiles, terror tunnels, and numerous terrorists who were in route to commit terrorist attacks.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said in a statement that anti-Semites across the political spectrum were using the recent fighting in Israel as an excuse to commit crimes against Jews around the world.
“Today the President spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, reaffirmed his strong support for Israel’s right to defend itself against rocket attacks from Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza, and condemned these indiscriminate attacks against Israel,” President Joe Biden said in a statement. “The President also spoke with Palestinian Authority President Abbas and conveyed a commitment to strengthening the U.S.-Palestinian partnership. They discussed a shared desire for Jerusalem to be a place of peaceful coexistence for all faiths and backgrounds.”
