Inspector General Finds Comey Defied Authority As FBI Director, Report Says

The Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General has found that former FBI Director James Comey defied authority at various times while leading the bureau, according to a new report.

ABC News reported on Monday that sources claim that the DOJ’s internal watchdog “explicitly used the word ‘insubordinate’ to describe Comey’s behavior.”

The report also reportedly “rebuked” former Attorney General Loretta Lynch ” for her handling of the federal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s personal email server.”

“What is taking so long with the Inspector General’s Report on Crooked Hillary and Slippery James Comey,” President Trump tweeted on Tuesday. “Numerous delays. Hope Report is not being changed and made weaker! There are so many horrible things to tell, the public has the right to know. Transparency!”

Making matters worse for Comey is the fact that disgraced former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is now seeking an immunity deal from federal prosecutors.

Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett said on Tuesday that if McCabe “sings like a canary” about the Clinton email investigation and the alleged nefarious activity of spying on the Trump campaign, that Comey is in serious trouble.
