<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/megyn-kelly-others-blasts-newsweek-for-slamming-critics-of-article-referencing-women-as-non-men" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megyn Kelly</a> and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/demolishing-women-piers-morgan-confronts-trans-activist-on-men-in-womens-sports" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Piers Morgan</a> reacted on Monday after two <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cycling-organization-bans-trans-identifying-men-from-womens-bike-races" target="_blank" rel="noopener">biological men</a> took the two of the three top spots in the Illinois State Women&#8217;s Cyclocross Championship on Sunday.</p>
<p>Tessa (Michael) Johnson and &#8220;Evelyn&#8221; Williamson took home the gold and silver medals in the women&#8217;s singlespeed category of the competition, leaving only one spot for a woman on the podium.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://x.com/megynkelly/status/1731733433519353951?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">host</a> of the Sirius XM &#8220;Megyn Kelly Show&#8221; podcast had only one word for the insanity of men competing in the women&#8217;s sporting event, &#8220;Infuriating.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kelly&#8217;s post also included a link to the report slamming USA Cycling for allowing men to race in &#8220;women&#8217;s categories all over the US.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="https://x.com/piersmorgan/status/1731734485807292530?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Piers Morgan</a> wrote on X, calling it &#8220;so outrageous.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Why aren&#8217;t more women standing up against this assault on their rights?&#8221; the TV host asked.</p>

<p>Legendary tennis player Martina Navratilova replied to Morgan, writing, &#8220;Women are standing up but it&#8217;s mostly men who make the rules. And it is male bodies who take advantage of these ridiculous rules.&#8221;</p>
<p>Former college female swimmer <a href="https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1731712677490086092?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Riley Gaines</a> reacted to the report of two men winning the women&#8217;s competition and wrote that, &#8220;[USACycling] has 2 categories for men and none for women.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Any woman who concedes and doesn&#8217;t compete, I will personally pay them the prize money they&#8217;re missing out on,&#8221; she added. &#8220;Stop participating in the farce.&#8221;</p>

<p>The <a href="https://usacycling.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">USA Cycling Rules Book</a> says that identity fraud isn&#8217;t allowed. &#8220;No licensee may enter a race under an assumed name nor conspire to allow another rider to enter a race under an assumed name. This includes fraudulent use of another rider&#8217;s license, racing numbers, or timing,&#8221; it says.</p>
<p>However, it <a href="https://usacycling.org/about-us/governance/transgender-athletes-policy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">does allow</a> biological men to race against biological women, including requiring the athlete to declare &#8220;that their gender identity is female.&#8221;</p>
<p>And at the non-elite competition level the rule read, &#8220;a member may self-select their gender.&#8221;</p>
<p>On October 7 at the Chicago CycloCross Cup (CCC), Johnson and Williamson took home the 1st and 2nd place in the Women&#8217;s categories, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/men-win-top-two-spots-in-womens-cycling-race-in-chicago" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. The bronze went to female Allison Zmuda in the single speed race.</p>
