<p>A Guatemalan national in the country illegally was arrested by Utah police on Monday for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl, according to police records obtained by The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>Twenty-six-year-old Jonathan Estuardo Ruano Garcia is being held in the Utah County jail, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed a detainer on him, the sheriff&#8217;s office told The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>Police documents said that on Sunday night, a mother returned to her apartment around 11:15 p.m., where her daughter was home alone. On the way in, she &#8220;<span dir="ltr" role="presentation">observed an adult male leaving </span><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">her apartment. The mother said the male made eye contact but then quickly </span><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">walked away.&#8221;</span></p>
<p>When she entered the apartment, she found her daughter completely naked in the hallway, and &#8220;the 11-year-old girl told her mother that a male she met on the internet came to the apartment and had sex with her,&#8221; the police report said.</p>
<p>Police used the girl&#8217;s social media history to identify Ruano Garcia, and quickly located him at his home. &#8220;Ruano Garcia admitted that he put his penis in her vagina and had sex with the 11 year old for 20-30 min,&#8221; the police report said, and claimed he believed the girl was 13 or 14.</p>
<p>He said he met her at a soccer game and began chatting with her online. &#8220;Ruano Garcia admitted that the chats he had with the victim turned sexual and he sent naked photos of his penis on multiple occasions,&#8221; the police report said.</p>
<p>Ruano Garcia was arrested for three felonies: the rape of a child, enticing a minor, and forgery.</p>
<p>The forgery charges are because &#8220;In his wallet was a social security card that did not appear to be authentic. When asked about the social security card Ruano Garcia admitted that it was fake and that he paid money for it when he came to the United States from his county,&#8221; police wrote.</p>
<p>Local <a href="https://www.ksl.com/article/50920274/lehi-man-arrested-accused-of-sexually-assaulting-11-year-old-he-met-on-internet">news station KSL</a> first reported on the arrest.</p>
<p>The Utah County prosecutor&#8217;s office said his first court appearance is set for Friday, and that court documents have not yet been filed.</p>
<p>The sheriff&#8217;s office told The Daily Wire it notifies ICE anytime an illegal immigrant is held in jail.</p>
<p>It is the latest instance of brutal crimes by illegal immigrants, who in many cases were repeatedly arrested for more minor crimes and then released by sanctuary jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with ICE.</p>
<p>In the first half of this month, ICE arrested nearly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ice-arrests-275-illegal-alien-sex-convicts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">300 convicted sex predators</a> who were illegal immigrants. A man who allegedly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/previously-deported-criminal-illegal-alien-shoots-3-d-c-police-officers-serving-warrant-for-animal-cruelty-feds" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shot three police officers</a> on February 14 in Washington, D.C., is an illegal immigrant.</p>
<p>In California, an illegal immigrant was convicted of felony DUI but remained in the country, where he then <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/illegal-who-killed-kid-driving-drunk-was-arrested-for-two-additional-duis-in-california" target="_blank" rel="noopener">killed an 8-year-old boy</a> while speeding in his BMW after consuming alcohol. He was released from prison after only 16 months, and was quickly arrested for two more DUIs, with the California localities in both cases releasing him on bail and refusing to cooperate with ICE. The 8-year-old boy would “100%” be alive today if the government had deported Karmjit Singh after his first conviction, his father told The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>In Louisiana, an illegal was arrested Sunday for allegedly raping a 14-year-old and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/illegal-alien-arrested-for-alleged-child-rape-stabbing-adult-in-face-during-armed-robbery-caused-terror" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stabbing</a> someone in the face. Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley said that illegal immigrants are hard to police because “Lack of access to data, false identification and language barriers put local law enforcement at a huge disadvantage. We cannot verify if an illegal alien is giving correct information as it pertains to names and date of births. It is not only a drain on police manpower, but a financial drain on local law enforcement’s budgets and taxpayer’s money.”</p>
