Federal authorities on Tuesday took into custody the wife and all five children of Egyptian national and anti-Israel terrorist Mohamed Sabry Soliman, who firebombed pro-Israel demonstrators after overstaying his visa during the Biden era.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the ICE arrests in a video post on X, with sources telling Fox News and the New York Post that the family is being processed for expedited deportation following questioning.

“This terrorist will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Noem said. “We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it.”

Soliman, 45, severely injured 12 pro-Israel demonstrators at a Boulder, Colorado rally using a “makeshift flamethrower” and Molotov cocktails thrown into the crowd while yelling “Free Palestine!” and “End Zionist,” The Independent reported.

Soliman’s relatives, who have had their visas revoked, are being detained at an immigration detention center in southern Texas, and following interrogation, officials intend to use expedited removal to deport the family, sources told the Post.

The arrests come after Secretary of State Marco Rubio appeared to foreshadow Tuesday’s events in an X post on Monday.

“In light of yesterday’s horrific attack, all terrorists, their family members, and terrorist sympathizers here on a visa should know that under the Trump Administration we will find you, revoke your visa, and deport you,” Rubio said.

As the Daily Wire previously reported, sources within the Department of Homeland Security revealed that Soliman had overstayed his visa after entering the U.S. during the Biden administration.

Soliman entered the country in August 2022 on a non-immigrant visa that expired in February of the following year, and the Egyptian national then filed an unknown claim with the Citizenship and Immigration Services.

The Biden administration eventually granted Soliman work authorization until March of this year.

Soliman now faces 16 counts of attempted first-degree murder, along with charges for assault and possession of incendiary devices, and if convicted on all counts with consecutive sentences, he could face up to 624 years in state prison.

Additionally, federal authorities have charged him with a hate crime involving actual or perceived race, religion, or national origin, per Fox News.

Soliman is currently being held on a $10 million bond with his next court appearance scheduled for Thursday, June 5 at 3:30 p.m. MT.
