Last week, we discussed some of the possible dangers presented by artificial intelligence — chief among them are various forms of identity theft through AI-generated voices that sound exactly like the real person.
Today on my show we discussed how AI being used to create porn of real life people without their consent.
You may have heard the term “deepfake.” It’s the term to describe a video created through AI that’s used to transpose someone’s face onto someone else’s body.
So, for example, somebody takes my face and puts it on another woman’s body to make a convincing video showing me doing something out of character. Why would somebody want to do something like that?
Well, obviously, because they want to make it seem as though that person actually said or did something they didn’t actually say or do.
This isn’t science fiction, it’s happening now.
Last week, a brave online streamer who goes by the name ‘QTCinderella’ took to her platform to share a heart-wrenching video. It’s her reaction to the deepfake porn created of her. She had no idea it was out there until somebody sent it to her.
It is important for us all to hear her emotion to see the sort of devastation this new form of evil can cause.
QTCinderella — whose real name is Blaire — is 28-years-old. She has never engaged in the adult film industry in her life. She has never done any kind of porn whatsoever, but some creep out there apparently fantasized and wanted to see her in pornographic films.
So that’s just what some unidentified creator did. They used AI to artificially impose QTCinderella’s face on another woman performing in a porn scene. Can you imagine how you would feel if somebody did that to you? To your family member? Your spouse? Your best friend?
This young woman, though, isn’t letting the people who did this get away with it.
“This is what the pain looks like,” she said through tears. “Why? Why?” She was clearly searching for the words to explain this horror and her anguish.
“If you are able to look at women who are not selling themselves or benefiting off of being seen sexually, they’re not benefiting, they’re not selling it, they’re not platforming it themselves,” she continued. “If you are able to look at that, you are the problem. You see women as an object. You should not be OK doing that.”
She continued, exasperatingly explaining that it shouldn’t be her responsibility to get this filth off the internet.
“It should not be a part of my job to have to pay money to get this stuff taken down,” she continued. “It should not be part of my job to be harassed, to see pictures of me nude spread around. It should not be something that is found on the Internet. It shouldn’t be part of my job. The fact that it is, is exhausting.”
She then promised to take the person behind the website that published it to court.
“To the person that made that website. I’m going to f***ing sue you. I promise you, with every part of my soul, I’m going to f***ing sue you. That’s all I have to say. I know I shouldn’t have gone live, but I couldn’t do it. I’m so exhausted. And I think you guys need to know what pain looks like because this is it.”
She wasn’t done.
“This is what it looks like to feel violated,” she said. “This is what it looks like to feel taken advantage of. This is what it looks like to see yourself naked against your will spread all over the internet. This is what it looks like. That’s it. That’s all I have to say goodbye. I don’t condone the behavior of anybody involved in this.”

She’s 100% right. This is the ultimate violation. I can’t even imagine how she discovered this. I can’t even imagine watching yourself in a porn scene that you never were involved with. And I can’t even imagine knowing that somebody took the time to do this.
How perverted is the sicko behind this who did this to someone?
Now, it’s very important to discuss this because it could be done to anyone.
Someone could create a deepfake of your teenage daughter and blast it out on the internet. It is so easy to see how this could go so darkly so quickly. To think that in a society where we are fighting so much pedophilia and those freaks could now create a deepfake of somebody that’s not even of age? It’s horrifying.
Now, to think that this happened to QTCinderella and she’s now going to have to absorb whatever legal fees to try to get this taken off the Internet. Are we certain it can be removed? I completely support those efforts. Nobody should have to go through this whatsoever without knowing if they have recourse.
It’s a wake-up call: We need laws around AI — and fast.
Ideally, they will reveal the name of the freak who created this deepfake and he will be held accountable. It is evil behavior, and we all need to take the potential consequences of AI more seriously.
