<p>Chris Pratt stopped to shake hands and thank WWII Veterans at his premiere Wednesday night for &#8220;The Terminal List,&#8221; saying he wanted to &#8220;honor them for their great sacrifice.&#8221;</p>
<p>During the star-studded red carpet premiere held in Los Angeles, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/chris-pratt-continues-tradition-of-honoring-the-fallen-in-memorial-day-posts">43-year-old actor</a> was seen in clips shared by <a href="https://twitter.com/Variety/status/1539798312932413440?s=20&amp;t=RjTZA5_BWrcRXwJtKBHH6A">Variety</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvOQ5qQfEZI">Associated Press</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/Reuters/status/1539936304493801472?s=20&amp;t=H0-0xKn-fjGc9zYCSntV2g">Reuters</a> posing for pictures and thanking the men in uniform, who he praised as members of the &#8220;greatest generation.&#8221;</p>
<p>Pratt told reporters he has an &#8220;absolute affinity for our Navy SEAL community, for our men and women in uniform and especially for our special operators and all they go through and all they sacrifice.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;These are WWII veterans and every year they take a pilgrimage back to Normandy,&#8221; he shared. &#8220;Thrilled to see them here. It was a surprise to me, I didn&#8217;t know they were going to be here. And it was an opportunity to kind of just catch up with them.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been following their story,&#8221; he added. &#8220;And I saw them and I was like, &#8216;Oh my gosh, we got to spend time together.&#8217; You know, there&#8217;s not enough time in the world. Certainly on a press line where everything&#8217;s fifteen second bites. I&#8217;d like to really sit down and really, really talk with them and honor them for their great sacrifice.&#8221;</p>
<p>In the one video from the night&#8217;s festivities, we can see the &#8220;Guardians of the Galaxy&#8221; star smiling and shaking hands with one of the veterans as we can overhear Pratt telling the WWII hero — who said that he served in the U.S. Army — that the gentleman &#8220;looked fantastic&#8221; in his uniform.</p>
