ORIGINAL STORY: On Sunday at Ground Zero in New York, Hillary Clinton, attending an event to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11, had to leave abruptly. Some reports stated she appeared to faint on her way to her van:
At first, it was unclear where Clinton was headed after leaving the event:
That became clear a little later; Clinton was not taken to a hospital, but rather her daughter’s apartment:
The Clinton campaign’s claim that she was “overheated” drew some fire given that the weather was mid-70s with high humidity.
The excuse that the Clinton van took her to Chelsea’s apartment triggered some questions:
The NYPD confirms that an officer went back to the site to pick up Hillary’s shoe.
Clinton suffered a concussion and transverse sinus venous thrombosis in 2012. In 2015, Clinton’s doctor stated her health was “excellent,” allowing that she takes blood thinners and citing her hypothyroidism.
Donald Trump has been among those questioning Clinton’s health; he said in August, “To defeat crime and radical Islamic terrorism in our country, to win trade in our country, you need tremendous physical and mental strength and stamina.”
