<p>Lori Vallow Daybell made a number of disturbing searches prior to her children’s disappearances and on the day of her husband’s ex-wife’s funeral.</p>
<p>Vallow Daybell is currently on trial for the murder of her daughter Tylee, her adopted son J.J., and her husband Chad Daybell’s ex-wife Tammy. Chad reported on October 19, 2019, that Tammy, 49, had died after going to bed with a cough. Initially, her death was ruled as “natural causes,” but authorities later ruled it “suspicious.”</p>
<p>On the day Tammy was being laid to rest, Rexburg Police Det. David Stubbs testified on Monday, Vallow Daybell was searching for wedding dresses in Hawaii, East Idaho News <a href="https://www.eastidahonews.com/2023/04/day-14-live-updates-new-week-of-daybell-trial-begins-with-rexburg-detective-testifying/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;What also caught my attention was this was being looked at on the same day as Tammy&#8217;s funeral,&#8221; Stubbs testified, according to the outlet.</p>
<p>Two weeks after Tammy died, Chad married Vallow Daybell in Hawaii. Chad faces trial later this year for the murders of Vallow Daybell’s children and Tammy.</p>
<p>Even before Tammy’s death – while she and Chad were still married – Vallow Daybell searched for wedding rings and ordered two, Stubbs testified.</p>
<p>&#8220;We were thinking it was odd for her to be looking at wedding rings at that time,&#8221; Stubbs said.</p>
<p>Vallow Daybell’s children disappeared in September 2019, weeks before Tammy died. Months before their disappearance, on July 21, 2019, a search history from an email account associated with Vallow Daybell showed the user searched for “gerber life policy” and “Live insurance for children – the Grow-Up Plan,” East Idaho reported. The Grow-Up Plan is a life insurance policy “for a child that builds cash value,” <a href="https://www.gerberlife.com/child-life-insurance/grow-up-plan/questions#:~:text=The%20Grow%2DUp%C2%AE%20Plan%20is%20a%20whole%20life%20insurance,long%20as%20premiums%20are%20paid." target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to GerberLife.com</a>.</p>

<p>Vallow Daybell also did searches related to selling a service dog, which her son J.J. had due to his autism.</p>
<p>Last week, jurors <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jurors-hear-jailhouse-phone-call-between-lori-vallow-daybell-and-son-you-ripped-my-heart-out" target="_blank" rel="noopener">heard a jailhouse phone call</a> between Vallow Daybell and her surviving son, Colby Ryan.</p>
<p>The call, which was recorded in 2020 between Vallow Daybell and her oldest son from her first marriage, involved accusations from Colby that his mother killed his siblings.</p>
<p>“You murdered my siblings!” Colby said, <a href="https://www.insider.com/colby-ryan-wanted-hit-chad-daybell-with-shovel-jail-call-2023-4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to Insider</a>. “I thought I could trust you, I thought that you were a completely different person.”</p>
<p>“I’m sorry you feel that way,” Vallow Daybell replied.</p>
<p>Colby also told Vallow Daybell that he wished he could bash her husband, Chad Daybell, “in the face with a shovel.”</p>
<p>Colby took the stand last week to testify against his mother, telling the jury about Vallow Daybell’s insurance policies on her ex-husbands Joseph Ryan (Colby and Tylee’s father) and Charles Vallow, who was <a href="https://people.com/crime/lori-vallow-daybell-brother-alex-cox-think-i-am-fall-guy-before-death/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reportedly</a> shot to death by Vallow Daybell’s deceased brother, who claimed self-defense. Colby also testified that he received messages from his younger sister after she disappeared. The messages, he said, didn’t sound like they were from Tylee.</p>
<p>On the jailhouse phone call, Colby mentioned those messages and expressed his feelings to his mother.</p>
<p>“I was deceived and I was broken by my own mother,” he said, according to Insider. “I can’t tell you the amount of pain I have felt.”</p>
<p>“I feel like I could die,” Colby added. “You ripped my heart out.”</p>
