Goldie Hawn’s famed kids revealed how Kurt Russell became part of the news coverage when O.J. Simpson was on the run in 1994 following the murder of Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

During Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson’s recent joint appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the two children of the famed actress — who’s been with Russell since 1983 — said the “Overboard” star has this odd way of “always crossing paths with killers. Like, serial killers.”

“It was the big chase … O.J. was on the 405 [freeway] and Kurt all of a sudden just went, ‘Oh, he’s going home,'” the 44-year-old actress told the host. “Next thing you know, he gets in the car and he leaves and he goes to O.J.’s house.”

“I don’t know why!” she added. “Just to see what happened, you know? And we’re all like, ‘Where are you going?’ He’s like, ‘I’ll be right back.’ And then he goes with his friend.”

The “Almost Famous” star said the next thing they knew they saw Russell on the TV news coverage from Simpson’s home “behind the caution tape.”

Kate’s 47-year-old actor brother added, “Actually, he was on camera when O.J. Simpson drove into his house. He was in the driveway. You could see him on KTLA, like, ‘Huh? That’s dad!’ I was like, ‘What is he doing there?'”

And apparently Simpson wasn’t the only strange run-in the “Tombstone” star has had. Oliver said Russell reportedly had a “run-in with Ted Bundy” and also someone in the  Charles Manson gang. However, the “Fools Gold” star interjected on the idea of the famed actor’s latter two run-ins and said “I might not believe either of those stories.”

Regardless, Oliver continued telling the story of how “The Thing” star was living in a county in Colorado at the time when serial killer Bundy escaped custody there. Russell was camping and they said he left his campsite to get a beer and when he returned his food was gone.

After Bundy was caught, Oliver said the murderer recounted being able to stay on the run after finding a campsite and eating the camper’s food when they left.

Simpson was acquitted for the double murder of Nicole and Goldman in 1995 and was later convicted for armed robbery in Las Vegas in 2008 before being paroled in 2017.
